    12 gauge,thanks for the condolences.
I just think if you want an all round athlete a better one already exists.

i like a staff to be strong and durable.

good for you for striving for all round dogs though.

what's related to staffords but hasn't suffered years of show breeding?

hint-they're illegal in the UK (where i live)

My question was ment to be almost a dumb as some of your reply's!
If all you have access to to is the showbred style Staffs (where you live) then I guess you"ll have to settle with that! NOT my problem! Your a super "star member" like me this isnt your first rodeo through this forum and some of the dogs pics you see here obviously look drastically different! If all you have is the show style staffs guess I dont blame your ignorance to know the differance.
To the OP sorry we hijacked your thread!

Whippit/x BLA..BLA..BLA Some prefer to try to maintain some resemblence of the original purpose this breed was created for. Herodog I would not even begin to classify your pup in the same league with the one by the OP. Clearly some not to distant show breeding going on there but a vast improvement. he is also in great shape and the show judge was right he is up in the leg based on his F@#!^D opinion IMO he is a step in the right direction.Op no offence , and I know that is what people say directly before they offend, your pups although well loved, and cared for ,and shining examples of KC and AKC SBT's will not recieve alot of props on a GAME-DOG forum...sorry.7 sup you crazy sombitch. C love Ya Man. PICS comming soon I promice.CO-op you da man tic tic boom...lol

yeah,it isn't like these 'athletic' staffs are peddled to death as well,is it?

no better than show dogs just bred to look a different way.

I only piped up because it's ironic how you're all looking down at someone else putting up a pic of their own show bred dog, saying your 'working type' show dogs are better.

oh and tick tock all you want, some people have commitments other than the internet.

I only piped on this thread becouse SOMEONE mentioned that the working type GUYS are gunna give some STICK to there type.
So just gave my 2 cents of why and well enough wasnt left alone.

yes people have way better commitments than the enternet, I agree and im just mess'n around anyway. its all good man!

At no point did I slag the OPs dogs just stated not my type, but do you really thInk that dogs of that type are on par with a dog that has been bred to perform in certain venues. You stated these athletic staffs are no better just bred to look different.Iam going to disagree with you there. The pup I have now is not bred to look anyway he is bred to perform ,his good looks are just a by-product of good genes .

    Hey mate,
You say that your pup is bred to perform. Perform at what? Can you post a pic of him performing?

Well he is 20weeks old and still spitting out baby teeth so he has not really been tested on much mate.I will say he has managed to catch an kill a couple of rats down in my shop.As a rule I let pups be pups and would not expect much more from him.Not really sure what you would expect from a puppy.

Oh still a baby then, wow to catch a rat or two at such a young age seems awsome to me, I wasn't being a clever arse in my last post just interested to know what other people do with their dogs. Good luck with him for the future.
