yes nice bitch..but the kc type are all heading towards the gargoyle type, as this is what wins the shows and all the recent champions are PRINCE NASEEM in type...or worse

still not a well proportioned stafford to me but better than many in the showring, and i hope this is the trend to follow for years to come following work desire foremost. i wonder why she's grasping for air

do they do anything with her other than the showing?

her form does look alot better then the over sized hog looking staffs but also remember looks have lil to do with true heart and working ability sure correct conformation can help but isnt always guaranteeing anything the fact is to get true working u have to work them and see the results your self in any work and evaluate what you fell is up to par and some ppls vision of up to par can be a wide spectrum for multiple things

if you are refering to the dog above i've seen quite few better structured than this one but not well balanced give up while working, what im telling you is not hearsay its what i have witnessed over and over. give me any stafford and i will make it look good in few weeks, this is the case with the one above, just looks

i put the pic up to show some people that not all KC breeders are going the route of the bug eyed frog dogs.
at the end of the day she is a show dog, and i do know that this breeder breeds for fitness , health and temperament. which is a step in the right direction.

You are incorrect. For sure there was staffords around of similar type
but they would have been few & far between. That era,the dogs at the shows were mostly of a similar & typical type, which would have been close to the breed standard. They have went downhill since imo but there is still some nice looking kc dogs around.[/QUOTE]i can tell you for sure the first staffs and even in the 80 s 90 s ext were not over 40lbs in condtioned weight although some could but the ones based on real working yards were of smaller range like 25 lbs to 45 lbs but most being 25 to 35 lb range but what ever was working mostly infact i havent seen many real working dogs over that weight that dont blow hot air quick or have limted ability but them bigger ones will take harder holds ussally on there prey again size dont have much to do with whats beating the blood in the veins but most dog men keep there dogs in 25 to 45 lb range period unless one comes out bigger and proved its worth witch you didnt see much unless you were using them for bigger game then the bigger dogs do some in handy off coarse

agree with you on this, but bulging eye dogs, 16 or 20 inch better structured stafford are obsolete without work

let me say if you like show dogs there is nothing wrong with it i would just advise getting your staffs from real working ppl and then that way they will be more heaklthy and if you want to show that dog then that is the route i suggest u go if more did this we would see a change in standard after that but doubt its ever gonna happen so unless a new registry starts and changes there standard well dont count onn that happening soon but again looks only make him look good or look capable or working does that mean they are lolololol
