hello im asking a question my mates 2 and halkf year old dog when me mate takes him for a walk and he see a dog he goes all tense tail up in the air and just stairs at the other dog but he does not make a niose and my mate has to drag him a way so he can carry on walking. the other dogs can be friendly or aggresive he still acts the same and sometime when hes on the field on lead he looks like hes stalking a dog like a wild cat would do but there has been a littile jackjrussell bitch that came near him and he was just a bit stiff and tail wiggling my mate asked me what does it meen but i couldent give a %100 answer

Your dog could very well be a cur and still want a piece of any dog that comes along. He could be a 25 min cur. Or a 1:15 min cur. Either way how long do you think it will take a bulldog to kill a jack russel? I'm guessing less than 5 min. It's called dog aggression. I'm guessing he stays still because he really does want some. Other dogs will try to scare a threat away by growling barking, showing teeth.........I don't think your dog wants them to go away.

I hate it when people think they are cool with a snarling dog. the only reason that dog is snarling is to try look scary to fend off its oponent.
any dog that keen will not want to scare them away.

And if you see your friend with him in a park off leash slap him in the face, otherwise eventualy he will have a big vet bill on his hands or worse a dead jack russell.

As has already been pointed out your dog is showing all the signs of getting ready to dish out an ass whipping to the other dogs. Tell him to do some research and learn to read a dogs body language.

As far as a dog showing teeth is a curr is retarded. Could it be possible? Yes it could be, but sure as hell doesn't mean it has to be true.

 

That's a good point Boogie........just look at the video posted of Bobby and Dynamo.......once the rope hit the ground it got loud quick and it was time to cut and go to a commercial break. Lol I highly doubt you can call them dogs curs. Not Bobby anyway, I don't know much about Dynamo.
