should cannabis be legal?

now i dont even smoke apart from odd joint here and there...even then though ive gotta of had a drink....its just way i see it you smoke and chill....now im a drinker but im so bloody tired of men who are at the age they should be able to handle their drink....instead they want to act the hard man when they are the biggest wanker going sobber or drunk....thing is amount of cameras about you give one a good well deserved kicking and you do bird over sod all :\

Was wondering is amsterdam aside from the smoking and women a peaceful country and do you think others should follow it?

 

I don't smoke but live 20 minutes from Amsterdam

And it's not so peacefull as you think it is in Holland.
Every day people are murdered and abused also here where smoking is legal.

We have 'coffeeshops'.

I think nothing in our country you buy legal is without some kind of tax

Legalize it and within a year we are no longer in debt to china plain and simple. If we legalized it, then it would open up alot of jobs (someone has to grow it, harvest it, and prepare it for sale along with the long list of other things that can be made from it, paper, clothes, rope what have you), free up alot of jail space, cut out the violent aspects of the drug due to it being illegal, and you cut out the drug dealer, The goverment could tax it and it would still be cheaper than paying 25 -35 $ for 3.5 grams. Eveybody wins in the senerio.
