I watched a show on animal planet one night ( I know I know hear me out:rolleyes:) that was on dogfighting. Don't know if anybody seen it but they was talking about this dude in Cincinnati that they busted. Him and a few others. They worked their way in, gained his trust, went to shows, EVEN OWNED AND MATCHED DOGS!!!!! Then set up the big show and busted evrybody. But the one that's gonna get you is your best friend. The one who's been there all along who you never would have thought just to work out a deal. Happens all the time.

It would do everybody a favor if the drug dealers and inner city kids would start finding something else to do now. It thoughts like this that make me want to quit puttin paper on my dogs.

  4. I don't mean to disagree yard, but you cannot blame the drug dealers. I remember as far back as the early 90's, dog men where selling to them. They took every piece of shit you could find and dumped them for big cash. As we all know, the by product of these actions has been absolute murder.

Well, I just don't think the city is the place for someone to have a yard. Too many eyes watching all the time and nobody really knows nobody. Plus when drugs are involved it brings more heat. And how many money hungry drug dealers or junkies really take care for the dogs? Most are just worried about makin a buck or gettin a hit.

You're right though it's not their fault, it just makes a bad situation worse. I hate to see people in it for the wrong reasons. It ain't all about winning, it's about the dogs. Forget the money. Forget the titles. The game done changes, the intentions should too. The only way to preserve the true gamedog is to keep your circles tight and keep your dogs out of the wrong hands. But it's too far gone like you said. :(

ima city boy myself, it will be a cold day in hell when dogs are not apart of michigan and detroit its self.

  10. Keep it quiet whatever you do nowadays.

I've never been a big proponent of how the dogs are kept in the inner cities. I have seen basements with crates stacked high and the only time the dogs get out is to work or eat. But, different strokes for different folks.

  11. "REAL BULLDOGS DONT DIE THEY MULTIPLY" wether it be here on this soil or mexican or even eurapean there will always be an AMERICAN pit bull

The "problem" I think you have in America is that your legal system is fucking hard as nails. 20 years means 20 years, over here (England) 20 years means 10 years but say 2.5 years of that in an open prison (open prison haha still makes me laugh we used to call it butlins!) and then 6 months on tag. We get colour T.V (freeview digital in some nicks!) Playstation, C.D player, Gym 3-5 times a week, as much booze as you can brew £200.00 buys you a mobile £50 a month buys a screw to tell you when you're gona get spun and if you want drugs well you won't have to go looking they come to you! I know guys that went in clean and came out raging smack heads (not me!) to be honest sometimes when I get pissed off at home I think to myself "could do with a 6 month holliday!" So we really don't have that big of a detterent (sp?), one of my friends actually turned down his Tag because he knew he would break curfew, so he just stayed in his cushy little cell on the wing with all his mates! Also over here snitching or "grassing" as we call it appears to be frowned upon more than in the U.S. I served time when I could have sung but because it's so easy you don't really worry about it (unless you have a family to take care of but even then you don't grass you get the right man to come forward). I equate grasses to rapists and kiddy fiddlers, and this is how I was brought up. If my brother did something bad and I went and told mum or dad I got a clip round the ear and told I was a grass lol sounds harsh but it worked for me. I may sound messed up to you guys but I'm back on track now lol.

Anyway to sum up you've got a hard as nails legal system that don't fuck about (they won't even let me in the damn country!) and then you've got little muggy pussys getting into the dogs to try and feel better about themselves and then when they get their collar felt their arsehole drops to the floor and they grass on their own mother 'cos they know their gonna get their ass ripped apart when they go down.

Thats how it seem from the outside looking in anyway, and tbh I don't have a solution if I am right lol

IMO I think the days of having a breeding YARD are numbered. The feds and the communist are offering rewards and bending people over for information, as has been heavily publicised,
they don't really have to have proof of wrong doing. They raid, arrest, and distroy the dogs.
Then they use there false witneses to confiscate the property. That's the end of the yard.
Now for the dogs, they will have a chance for survival if those who really care for the APBT as
its intended to be. Can leave there ego's out of the picture and do whats best for the dogs.
I see that as a very select group of dogs being bred, owned in small numbers and distributed as prospects to very close circles. The need for titles is not necessary, just the knowing that the dogs meet the expectation of the breed is fine with me. Thats the principal, It's in the knowing, not speculation that satisfies my love and care for these fantastic animals till the day they die.

I was going to say something on the same theory dream pits ;) I know for certain I am and will be having this breed until I am no longer able to live and walk on this earth but realistically I don't truly see a complete end in my lifetime at the least which is plenty of time for either the worse or better to occur.

good point shortbedder. swallow that pride. What i do is rotate the dogs from inside and outside. None stay couped up to long but at the same time i dont have 10 dogs in the back yard. And breedings:rolleyes: ha, they will ALWAYS be few and far between. Learned my lesson from my first litter. 14 of those little bastards lol

I am 29 years and since i was 11 i have been raising, breeding and training game dogs. There is Know way in hell i could ever see my self with any thing else. When i didnt have a car i had a dog when i lived with my mom i had dogs when i was in jail i had dogs my father is almost 60 years old and he still has dogs, I have godchildren, neices and nephews and a 10 year old daughter and al except her they all have dogs and my daughter is getting her first dog off her own to raise and train and when i say dog i dont mean lassie im giving her one of these tab/boomer pups to start with. If I start my kids out with dogs like this it can only get better. These dogs arent going anywhere. I know there is three people at least that think me in every state. And thats is enough to keep good strong game ass dogs in this country for ever. As long as people remember that LOYALTY IS EVERYTHING. I am loyal to what is loyal to me and thats my family and my dogs until the day i die.:crossfingers:
