jimmy zalesky dogs

Part.2.
JIm was worried/ not liking us leaving to go visit this loisiana dogman . also whe where also planning to go to boudraux. (this is also a very long story witch i wil keep short.) Afther a couple of days whe went back to jim and had a great time and where making plans for the future . I must say under a diferend note that due to our long time of ecsperionce whe where prepeard about how dogman in the usa keep there dogs, witch is of a lesser level we did ourself, and jim was no ecseption, so im not going to discuse that as i belive its a cultural thing.,
Afther 2 weeks whe set of home and planned to get back next year. During that period i send him the brother of our dog Magic called limey kennels Bullit(you can see him in the background in the picture thats been put up here of king gator) .

One year past and whe flew of to Jim again This time we took along a ""frind"" so we tought who later as it unfolded was send along as a spy for STB PK.. This guy lost his frind and was dipresed and could need the trip to forget about it , this was his ecscuse.

we also had a female with us called Tracy. .. these 3 dogs where the bases to breed some stunning crosses of to be shown and hunted in North america.

OK the controversy starts here, as the Guy we took had to give his word that no matter what he sould not ask Jim for dogs ore blood from that particuler famely. I did notished that he called back home 3 times a day and whent outdoors to do it ( later we found out he was getting instrucktions). Sometimes when we whent to touwn to get food in he didnt come along!!!. we found out that our our paperword and pedegrees and stuf where disorgenized(you feel it coming).

At one particulair day Jim came and askt me if i had a problem him giving the guy a pup ore a dog, and i said ofcours Jim whe made a deal and a plan to work to . and he agreed ""for that momend"". ( i feld that this guy was pushing jim and promised him money and come up with a ecscuse to send a dog along)
That Night me and Jim where talking conditioning and i revealed our keep witch brought us lots of sucses, and up to this day is stil revolutionair umongst other methods. When Jim understoot the keep he was walking around in his living room shouting very impressed OOHH MY GOD this is awesome .

The guy who i took along the trip, askt my whife for asprins as he had a headeag. When my whife stoot up and past him she saw in the corner of her eye a red light under some close on the table she instandly realized this was a video camera!! that was recording our conditioning / keep!! feeding method. She took imidiat action and insted of giving the Guy 2 asprins she gave him 2 valium sleeping pills .
It took about 20 min befor he was gone and in sutch deep sleep his own seliva ore slijm came out of his mouth.
I stoot up took the camera rewinded it and pointed the camera on him with al his own waist in his face and recorded him for about 30 min before i shut the camera of and put it back on its former place.(can you imagine the look on his face coming home gathering around the tv with STB PK and other dog kennels thinking they got our Keep!!!)

Coupe of days past by and altho jim was nice to people and sometimes gave pups away, i started to nothised that he got untested dogs in, and bred them dogs like sadie and sambela from who i found out actually quit.
He also revealed to me that one of his earlier dogs he started with had a papperd pedegree and he got him from spca.

Slowly i started to see cracks in his apearense and way with the dogs. i do understand that living can be harsh at times, but he sold dogs and pups with fantastic storys to some guys up north for lots of money. and they ended up with only one game plug on a bunsh of 7.
I later also found out that he never had the intention to work with our blood just to breed them and make money. unfortunatly the bitches my males where bred to where questionalble at best.

I was still impressed with the ripper dog . Jim bred this dogs ass of , but i ""knew"" he wassend doing this dog justice breeding him to crap.
i askt Goldey to Fly over and breed to him with our Fire Fox bitch. I told Jim that this would be the best bitch Ripper would ever breed to and his best ofspring would come out of that litter(profetic words) .
When goldye arived and stayd for a week.
JIm ask him what he tought about his hogs, and Goldey as the ""TO"" hounest man he is owner and breeder of 2 rom dogs and lots of ch , gave his upinion said wel Jim with the ecseption of those 3 black hogs and this particulair Red dog im supost to breed to i would cull the lot!!!.

jim became a bit depressed i gues around this time he found out he was in way over his head about it takes to be a real dogman , he did ask him to Cull a old Hog for dinner!. as he coundend do it. witch Goldey did, and he askt him if he was sure if this was the only one!! that needed to be prepeard for the BBQ.
Afther goldey bred to Ripper and came back Jim sold this guy who i took along a dog called buster.
He also started to comersional selling pups out of king gator and tracy. In the end he got to sel of my these dogs he got as a ""gift"" witch nobody in the world could buy as there was 25 years of blood swet and tears in them dogs and there gene pools.

. whe fell out and we didnt like one etchother any more for obvius reasons!!!. i do miss the ood times whe DID have sitting around the portch and eating BBQ and the place he lived his wife was a very nice gigeling person. she and my whife got along very wel.
afther lots of years i realize that Jim is realy a nice man just not up to the task what it takes to be a real dogman, he simply didnt had the stomage for it, and this made him do things he probely didnt whanted to do. but in the end did .
He could not keep up aperenses anymore. he slowly faded out of the dogs. he also sold and ore give away hogs when they got older because he knew he could not cull them ore watching them grow old. anf finance had a great deal to do with itas wel. i gues thats why Ripper ended up and spend the last years of his life on another yard. This al is a very short version of the tings whe whent tru and what happend during that time..
In the end dogs like king gator where bred and owned bij other people and ended up at the yard of one man together with the bullid dog they kinda build a famely around them not particulair bred to the blood i like but they do have sucses with them dogs. these dogs are gone now but there ofspring is alive and kicking.

ive got it on another hardrive. i have to get an enclosure (which best buy was sold out of on friday) then i can pull my pics and other stuff off of there.

these dogs are the parents of junkyards ch bandit , how did it come about that junkyard got bandit?

 

wel in the USA dogs are seen mostly as ""dogs"" objects"" .
health care ore ""bonding"" is at a bare minimum(most of the time) . most yards have very short chainspots . dogs get there food on the ground ,not in properly clean kept food boles in, they dont get fresh water everyday. often you see big halve cut barrels full of what ones was water !! i have seen manny a new eco system in those water barrels.

preventif medical shots are rare if all ecetea ecetera. europe hase a more health care oriented loving culture around dogs. also most of the euro dogs ore kennel i knew did actif work with there dogs from a very eurly ages. al these little things that are done diferend ore ecstra makes you able to have a pup divelop mutch beter then when they are put on the chain and left there.

take that same pup and his littermates and invest time in them bij walking in the woods and ore on the beatches regulair, creat a wolfpack!! they learn so mutch more and smell so manny diferend things. there brain gets to work and learn and divelops ectera ectera. there muscle tone divelop beter there lungs grow bigger as wel . its like eating ""raised"" dear or pig meat compeard to free roaming dear ore pig meat you taist nature!!!. im not sure if this is the best eczample but. im sure you understand what i mean. . The more you invest into a dog,s divelopmend the more you get out of him ore her.. and i have seen plenty of lack there in the usa. not everywhere but on most places...

 

^^^^although not always the case I somewhat have to agree with this but I bet in your country there are dogmen who are the same or worse, as the old saying goes "good bulldogs are where you find them" the same holds true with good dogmen..........jmo

 

so the pups are taught/schooled and worked at a younger age, way better than letting a chain raise it, i do agree with you there

i also agree they are smarter when off the chains, and they see other things than there chain circle or kennel wouldn't let them experience also. They tent to be a smarter, and get more drive , when they experience seeing moving things and animals on there walks. witch help build drive i believe as appose to being tied up and experiencing only what they see from there area, witch might not interest them to get up and try to check it out, cause they learn they can't get there anyway, creating laziness, sometimes.

i also agree not everyone raises them that way here either, some take pride in the raising part, and get to see result cause they put the work in, and i think it is found all over the world not just North America, there are a lot of dedicated people that put there work in.....and get better result because they did so.

Hell, many years since I have seen you online Limey, realized I kind of missed your colourfull posts...

I recall those times, first it seemed like love in the air between the two of you, later you where like cats and dogs. At the time Zaleksy´s dogs where top notch, atleast on paper and as many I where pretty interested in his stuff. But in my later endevours I have seen them work, some where descent but nothing I would incorporate in my own stuff...

 

Yes in our county you DO have kennels that are not realy taking care of them , but over the intyer line they do. Please understand that there was a time where there where 45 kennels in a country that only took hours to drive tru, and most kennels didnt house more then a handfull of dogs.
So the individual atention to the dogs was ofcours mutch and mutch beter.
Limey kennels themselfs never had more then 15 dogs sometimes including pups!!! ofcours there where kennels who had our blood as wel but iven those didnt had large amounds of dogs...
And thats where the major problem lias in , manny a yard in the world people get infected with the pitbull virus and take on to many dogs ore breed to fast and to mutch because it looks so great on paper...
Zalesky was a unfortunate aczample of that .
He had to mutch dogs to take proper care for. The dogs had nice papers but where mainly of inferior quality with the ecseption of a couple of goodones like the ripper dog . lots of his dogs and pups where underfed nd full of parasites
( bij the way the dog he was rolled into was not the buster dog but the bandid dog who later became a ch. he needed to be rescued in like 7 min tho from ripper..)
many a dogman has a lack of understanding and cant seem to undestand that when you invest more in a dog with food / health care / clean living space, and eurly road work in the fields and stuff for the brain and body to divelop, that you can get lots and lots more out of a dog .

Also the close ""bond"" you can give a dog is so importend for you and the dog as a team when your hunting.
The oposit is often the truth in real life because dogman are often afreight to get close with dogs they can LOOSE!!!!!. not realizing that ""this"" way ore fear to bond with there dogs is going to cost them more dogs.
Doing it the right way can be the ""difernse"" between a good and a great dog .................ore the diferense bewteen a dog that ""thuse"" make it insted of him ore her ""didnt"" make it across the field.. same gose for condition methods. we have won over Wild hogs that where beter then ours more then ones. and given the proper chanse being raised up the right way and everyting above, would have woopt us in the fields. Over the years as i stated befor we didnt whant to know ore where intrested in the reputation ore quality of the wild boar we where supost to meet up anymore . we just chekt the human behind it to juge it all in.
As(crazy fuckt up claimed bij others) Don Mayfield ones said its a test between your truth and sombody els is truth..............
