I don't expect people to agree on this post or what i believe, but you need to ask your self this question. Are you a hypocrite, whats the true meaning of right or wrong. Or do you know from right or wrong? when i think about these dogs, and what the breed came to, and going throw today. And how the media use the ignorant to paint a ugly picture about the breed, its inhumane to fight dogs, but its not inhumane to send your child your only son or daughter fresh out of high school to fight some one WAR. But what kills me the most that people like animal rights groups will go out there way to fight hard for something that they believe it in put in there heart and soul in to, but yet this country is going to shit, people out of work, people lost there homes, people can't feed there family's, we need to focus more on fixing America then little dumb ass bull shit. Now I don't condone dog fighting in any way but, i love the history, i love the dogs, i respect the dogmen on what they did for the breed. Animals killed in shelters across the States

Las Vegas shelter kills 1,000 animals after vets discover contagious diseases outbreak.The shelter annually adopts more than 7,000 dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs and other animals.

“It’s unforgivable in light of the fact that it was absolutely preventable,” said Holly Stoberski, legal counsel for Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary, a group that has worked with Lied Animal Shelter to find homes for impounded animals. “They were not properly vaccinating the dogs and cats in a timely manner.”

Well, that’s true. If the people that were hired to take care of these animals had done their jobs right; these cats and dogs more than likely would not have taken ill. However, most of them would have still been put down – they would have been spared the suffering though.
The animal shelter, Town Lake, in Austin Texas handles about 23,000 animals per year. Per year. Half of those animals are euthanized .If not more. How many die in your town? Multiply that number by all the major cities in your state. Add the biggest towns. Multiply that by the number of States. Final answer?
This number of throw-away cats and dogs does not take into count the numbers of stray cats gone feral or the number of dogs that never make it to the shelter . It does not take into account the number of animals in no-kill shelters.

All across the States cats and dogs from newborns to the elderly are being put to sleep. The animals did not choose to be born nor abandoned. Purebreds are not exempt from being slaughtered either. Last week there were at least 4 German Shepherds ( two of them 4 month old puppies ) a Rottie, 4 – 5 chihuahuas, a Siberian Husky… and that’s only the glimpse I had.

Who is responsible for this outrageous , irresponsible action? You are. I am. Anybody who does not speak up, shout out !!! You are responsible if you thought it was a good idea if Muffy had at least one litter before you had her spayed. You are responsible if you decided not to get your “boy” fixed because he couldn’t have puppies or because you think it would make your dog less “macho”. It is your responsibility if you bring home an animal that you cannot afford.
Everyone loves puppies or kittens. However, animals outgrow their baby cuteness within a few months. Animals do not train themselves, feed themselves. As an owner you are the Caretaker. 24/7 . Animals are a responsibility. Your responsibility as well as mine. Speak up if you see an animal being abused! Abuse is not only physical as in being kicked, beaten, hit. Abuse is a lack of shelter, lack of food, lack of medical and in my eyes; lack of companionship.
A lot of States ; cities, offer discount spaying or neutering clinics. Check into it. Maybe you do not need to use one, but perhaps your neighbor could use a little help. Volunteer. Donate. Not just money is needed. Towels, bowls, leashes, newspapers . All you have to do is make that call. Ask. Help save an animal today. Everyday. Until we no longer have throw away surplus animals being destroyed.

The murder stats have been consistant since 1976, but society doesn't pay attention to that, they don't see the murder rate as a priority. But yet, a couple if dogs fighting make head lines. That's because there is a different outlook to both scenarios. Money rules everything, they make cash off these sympathy trips on animals. They hide criminal stats because it will curb tourism and other things that bring in money, they don't want to bring it down though, just hide it. Look at Chicago for example, HUGE gang problem and i know from personal experience. Chicago's body count is not what it really is, their crime statistics do not reflect what its really like there because they have an image they want to keep. It's kind of like a sweep it under the rug type deal, especially these last few years when mayor daley's crooked ass has been campaigning for the olympics to come to chicago... as much as he tried to cover it up, the crime and gang problems is what kept the olympics away. On the other hand, criminals are big business and prison is big business. Why do you think they close schools to build prisons? for every school that closes a prison is built. It should be the other way around but there is a lot more money in prisons and inmate labor than there is in educating the average child. Everything which is the way it is now, is this way for a reason. If the sob story of animals didn't make money, nobody would give a shit what you do with your animals... if people getting locked up wasnt big business, they would do more to prevent it.

Not to mention all the different ways that money is being funneled right back into certain americans pockets.
