ive made it no secret if a gun FANATIC, and usually this time of year i splurge with some of my income tax return and buy myself a new firearm. i have a problem tho, practical, or fun? heres a couple examples, in the past 6 months ive bought 3 new ones...a Taurus Judge revolver chambered in .410 and i justified it because i have a .410 shotgun, so that was somewhat practical. I bought a Norinco AK-47 when a deal on a Russian model i thought i was gonna get fell thru. in fear of semi-autos being taken away, i would consider that somewhat sensible. and in November (the last gun show i attended) i had money burning a hole thru my pocket and i considered all sorts of guns that would truly be useless(AK pistol, and another Judge because two would look really cool), but i ended up going with another Glock19 because its my favorite model of the Glock line. (even tho i have several Glocks, including aother 19,it was my first olive drab green one:D)...so i ask, if YOU were in the market, wtf would you buy?

Well, your not alone with the gun fever. I've been planning on getting a few guns late last year, but things kept coming up. My last purchase was the Mossberg 930 SPX, i would marry that damn shotgun if i could. I ran across the S&W 380 which is very hard to find these days. And i'm also looking to get the DPMS 308 rifle, i just had a baby girl a few weeks ago, so i'll use the 308 rifle as the boyfriend killer. lol I also did purchase the S&W M&P 40, i'm so deadly with that thing its scary.

they say the M&P is the improved Glock on alotta gun forums im on, but i got too much in the Glocks to switch. plus i live by the whole if it aint broke dont fix it motto.

the m&p's are real accurate... i also like the glock's because of the simplicity of the gun, i use a s&w sigma series 9mm for concealed carry but im looking towards maybe a glock 26 just to have something a lil smaller:D but as far as my next big purchase i am looking at the s&w MP15... i agree with woody d and also fear the semi auto rifles being banned so im trying to stock up as much 7.62 as i can;)

I shot a ton of glocks, the 22,23,26,27, and 30. I like the glocks alot, but my shooting speed and accuracy is much better with the M&P. Not to mention the factory is a 10 minute drive from my house. Here, i have a lifetime warranty on S&W guns, so servicing is always free.

Gemcity, the M&P15 is a 223 rifle, i never shot it, but i here great results about it. If i dont get the DPMS rifle, my backup options are the SIG 556 or M&P 15. The sigma is a decent pistol, but the durability is a bit lacking, but i guess it all depends on the person who owns it. If you take good care of yours, it should last a long time. JMO

I know the mp15 is 223 i was referring to my wasr 10 for the 7.62 as far as the sigma goes i made the purchase wanting to try it out as a cheap replacement for my glock 19c that was stolen, its durability so far is ok but i treat all my firearms like babys so....:D

I have the M&P40 myself...also Im getting the M&P40C from a friend within the next few weeks as well.

For concealed carry I prefer my SIG229 over my M&P40.

I'm waiting for the S&W1911 Sub-Compact to hit the dealers here. I spoke with one of S&W reps and they said that it was submitted for testing.

A friend of mine just got a kimber ultra carry 2... its a real nice gun, has the crimson trace laser built into the grip... pretty small for a .45 also ideal for CCW, but unfourtunatley a little rich for my blood :(

if you got a 23, get a 27. you can snap the higher capacity 22 and 23 mags right in a 27, plus the 27 tucks right in you back pocket of a pair of blue jeans. gotta be careful you dont shoot youself carrying that way tho.

the glock 36 is chambered in the .45 gap right?

nope 45ACP...got one on the topshelf of my safe. i wont own a GAP chambered gun. thats a cartridge thats destined to fail despite the Fla HP adopting them recently. the 37, 38, & 39 are the GAP models

Saiga semi-auto rifle in 7.62x39. A very affordable AK variant made in Russia's best AK factory. They're also available in 308 and 223 but 308 is too expensive to play with and the 7.62x39 just sounds like an AK is supposed to as opposed to the 223. Mines used for varmints....4 legged and 2 legged if need be.

i agree... was just wondering i think they did make some 36's chambered in GAP didnt know if you had one, i also read somewhere it was a pretty pointless cartridge just looking for some personal opinons on it...:D
