Personally I think it's great. Most of the people who fight these dogs and give them a bad name are people like him. If he can reach them and make them change then good for him. Urban people tend to listen to other urban people so I hope it does work. Personally I don't see a need for fighting pits anymore. There are way to many other ways to test the gameness in a dog. I also don't think it's inhumane either if done correctly with the correct rules. I just think that with the thin ice we are skating on it's not worth taking the chance. It's a matter of do you wanna fight them and risk having the breed go extinct OR not fight them and just test gameness other ways that doesn't give the press fuel for BSl. Each time a fight gets busted its more fuel for the retards who say pit bulls are only made to be mindless killing machines.

No there is not. A dog pulling thousands of pounds for just the approval of his owner is a very good way to test game. A fighting dog is prepared to fight, you guys don't just use the ones who want to fight right of the bat, I hear of people starting "cold" dogs ect.Some dogs fight because they don't have a choice, others fight because they like it. My point is a pull dog doesn't HAVE to pull ANYTHING. He does it because he WANTS to and only for that reason.Thats heart! You people forget the pit bull was not always a fighting dog. It was used as a butchers dog and all around working dog long before it was used for fighting. In fact the reason your dogs look so different than 90% of all pit bulls out there is because they were mixed with terriers to make them smaller and more agile and to have the tenacity of the terrier.That is how the English bull terrier was created as well. This extreme thinking that pit bulls can only test they're value as game tested dogs by fighting is just as bad as the bully mentality or the people who think that working a dog in any way is abuse. There has to be balance. If you keep fighting these dogs and especially getting busted doing it, you are only going to continue hurting the breed that you love so much. It has absolutely nothing to with whether or not its abuse. It has to do with all the freaky animal rights extremists that are just waiting for us to give them enough reason to ban the breed completely. I LOVE MY DOGS AND I WANT TO KEEP THEM!
