It looks like the communists have put anohter dogman behind bars. Everyotime we win one it seems like we lose anohter 10. 1 step forward and 10 steps back.

A Richmond man was found guilty this afternoon of three felonies and one misdemeanor related to a dogfighting operation.
After two hours of deliberations, a Richmond Circuit Court jury convicted Richard E. Robinson, 32, of one count of dogfighting and two counts of animal fighting, which are felonies, as well as one misdemeanor county of animal cruelty.
The jury later recommended Robinson be fined $2,500 and serve 10 years behind bars. Formal sentencing was set for March 5.
Ten of 12 dogs seized in June from the home Robinson shared with his mother on Wright Avenue had to be euthanized, authorities said. Of the 12 dogs, nine had scars or other signs of injuries, according to testimony yesterday.
Authorities say they found exercise equipment, supplements used by bodybuilders and other evidence of dogfighting at the home in South Richmond.
They also discovered dogs in heavy chains in kennels without water, according to testimony in August.

why should he stop doing what he love just cuz he got busted, but i agree he should of done it smarter this time

thank goodness anyone i know working dogs are living in the outer-hebrides.....you usa owners are really in the shit:eek:......10 fucking years.......thats some serious time.......compared to some countries for same offence....my heart goes out to the fella if thats all he got done for!!.....less has been given to dirty fucking perverts preying on kids!!.....next step could be death penalty in some states......now that would be a reason for a serious up in arms revolution!!! .......im shocked.......10 years......:eek::rolleyes:

yeah, 10 years is extremely over-kill... One could probably beat someone(human being) who is tied up to a chair for an hour and have the person tied up(being kicked/punched) in a condition that is worst than the dogs.... And do half the time sentence... This is nonsense... The legal system is fked up.

in Alabama dog fighting is a class c felony which can range from 1 year and 1 day per charge up to 10 years per charge

its not just the dogs-look at all the other stuff that goes with it, drugs being the biggest common factor. then violence. this guy was partnered up w/ a convicted murderer, they were being watched for drugs and suspect in a shooting ( person shot 12 times, did not die)

the point being- dogs and only dogs. if you want to be a ~thug~ or a ~gangsta~ leave the dogs at the door. dont mix it up. i dont feel an ounce of sympathy for clowns like these

varies from state to state, case to case. some get probation, some get locked away for a long, long time

I dunno, doing what he loved affected others and the DOGS as well.
The DOGS end up suffering so much when these people get caught.

People doing what they love are putting their DOGS at great risk, but apparently what they LOVE is much more important than the dogs.

They can say all they want about how they love the dogs and it's all about the dogs, but their ACTIONS say otherwise. Their ACTIONS scream -- "the dogs are expendable and I don't care what happens to them".

If they cared, they wouldn't do something illegal -- especially NOW when it's KNOWN people are going down fast and the risk is high.

He's going away for that long because of more than just dogs. They never mention the other charges because they want you to believe the dogs by itself is getting him 10 yrs. Read the link that Rallyracer posted. He's a DRUG DEALER! This guy ahd ALL EYES ON HIM and still was irresponsible. The dog charges were a gift. They were after him for much more and thats what got him 10 yrs.

They find Drugs, you get a longer sentence not just for Dog Fighting.

I definitely think drug dealers and thugs that are involved in other crimes need to get the heck otu of the dogs. It just makes sense. The dogs bring the cops attention. Why are drug dealers so stupid as to put their drug operations at risk by having game dogs? LOL :confused:

what they dont realize is that its not that you might get caught, its when you get caught

in a business like drug dealing there are a whole lot of people who know ( suppliers down to customers) once 1 person knows its no longer a secret, and just a matter of time before you get pinched
