as far as putting the dog down its the best thing to do if you cant control a dog

as far as gamedogs Ive seen who gives a fuck cause I promise you one thing you dont know me or have slightest clue about who I am and what I do or have done

as far as the nilif thing goes you were giving props to micheal(an nilif advocate)
that dosnt own the breed

so you must feel its a good meathod of training a dog mate

as far as hick goes maybe a little

but I must stress that you only know what you read junkyard

i commended michele , frank because she deserved it i never said i agreed with her methods or mentioned nilif anywhere, and if you read it again you will see i was simply giving her props because she gets slung shit by people sometimes that have no idea and shouldnt own these dogs in the first place. wheather she does or doesnt own one is part of the reasons she gets shit but she still sticks to her guns and backs herself everytime.

frank i dont even know what the hell nilif is, and there was no indication i supported it. if you would like me to explain anyone elses posts that you cant comprehend just ask and il be happy to help.

 

The pit bulls didn't end up on the couch with kids and cuddle up to other animals the first day.
It takes time to teach an animal who is the boss.
It takes time to know whether you can trust an animal not to take advantage if you allow them to get on the bed.
My seal female Sil is coming up on her 4th birthday and I have now just started to allow her to get up on the couch but if she growls one time when I tell her to get down she will never be allowed on the couch again.
Dogs have to earn things in order to respect their owners. So I to a certain extent use NILF but I also am not above a boot up their asses under the right circumstances.
I don't think they were rude after what happen in one short day to your new rescue dog. He is a dog if you want to cuddle on the very first day go get a kitten.

now you need to comprehend the fact that I to think michele is a good source for raising a pet bull which is just fine if your into that type of thing

but I was taught a lil different

see the thing is that I was told from jump that this dog is the dog to respect in a sence that it can fuck you up

the old man looked at me and said where you plan on keeping this dog
then he went on to say this dog belongs on a chain not in the house

then he said that just because you walk past the dog dosnt mean you pet him he will get tired of you petting him

he said the only time you pet the dog is when you feed him clean up around him,and when working him
this way the dog gets time with master everyday but not to much time

he also said that you dont lay with dogs cause youll catch fleas lol

I was also told theres only two ways to change a people fighting dog
put a good amount of hurt on him like he never felt before or put him down fast

cause if he thinks for one moment hes incharge he will kill you

But son if you can master this dog youll have the best dog on earth

 

Frank: NILIF is a positive form of training. It's just one option should the OP choose to use it. It works. It's ok if someone chooses another method to train their dogs.

The only thing I advocate and fight against is BSL. I know more than most people that own this breed know, which is sad.

views cause I do, and it actually does help with a growing problem of people getting these dogs without a clue.

dont worry about it ww, frank and i have a habit of giving each other a bit of greif but there is nothing too bad about it we just have a few different veiws.

Michele , im assuming that the nilif method by what youve said is just positive renforcment? thats how i train my dogs and ive never had an issue behavier wise ever.

Frank you should ask Shon to hook you up with a sticky page with your new day shit and add on the end of it how you want people to never say they own a apbt, that way every new member would have to check it out and it would save you repeating the same shit over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
and that way non of us would have to go through the pain of seeing you say it twelve times a day.

Yes, NILIF uses positive reinforcement. It teaches the dog that it must earn everything. Nothing in Life is Free. The dog must earn it.

 

Well there is a simple reason for that, You are willing to learn and actually comprehend what folks have said and such.

Like I have said before there are a lot of folks who will say a good dog is where you find it, And I never can stress enough that good information is where you find it as well.
