Australian dogs out of STP's Tag

Couple of naiive questions, if anyone could be so kind as to help me out?

I'm trying to figure out which dogs out of Tag are in Australia. I know Revhead is in West Oz, but he's just one of 14 offspring out of Tag. There seems to be a lot of STP's Tag's blood in Australia, is this all out of Revhead? Here is the list of STP's Tag's offspring:

    Thanks kindly.

Ah, good ol' scrutinizing. I won't blame you for that ;) however, my intentions are genuine, and my question burning for an answer! I'm not sure where else I can ask this so please let me know of any alternatives.

I seldom occasion apon some so-called "dogmen" as my interest in APBT's is purely selfish; a game APBT makes a good pet dog for me. I have had a few friends in the past who have taught me a deal about the breed, and I am quite a long-term fancier. A good, game-bred APBT is a handful, but in the right hands is a superior pet dog for those who wish to have a close and loyal companion.

I have a 12 y.o. Sorrell/Patrick X mutt, my best mate. I was going to get a good game dog back then, and the dam was bred with another game dog, but a stray mutt got into her through the fence! I took a pup nonetheless, and have been very happy. Yet I've longed for my little pitty.

Now that my older dog has slowed considerably, 18 months or so ago, I was fortunate to get a good pup from Victoria (I am in NSW) whose father I know is 3 generations from STP's Tag. His mother is also Jeep/Redboy. I can't get in tough with his breeder (lost number) and my dog was sold without papers, as a pet and not to be bred. I respect this from a staunch breeder of a game line. Now if the sire is 3 gens from Tag, that limits the gene pool a bit, from what I can ascertain from the APBT Pedigrees I can find. With me?

I am delighted to see that my little boy might be related back to some of the dogs I have admired in Strattons books and the like.

I hope that explains where I'm coming from. And I hope someone out there knows their Aussie lines. Here are my mates. Oh yeah, I'm a biologist and spend a bit of time in the bush with my dogs, but they don't hunt.

Hi D'S. Yep, thats him, below too. He is a rather nice little dog. I don't have a ped, that's my problem :) All I know is that the sire not registered in the name of the breeder I got my dog from. The sire is named Caeser but I am not certain that it is his registered name. The dam is Jeep/Redboy too, but I have no idea other than that. I'd be stoked just to be able to trace his fathers side. This is all out of pure interest, my boy has no balls any more.

    Hey mate, very nice!!!!

My old girl is a cur out of Sorrell/Patrick dam and a mongerel sire. The dam was imported in 1992 and then lost before she bred, I think. The dam was all white. No ped sorry.

    Answered down the line, cheers.

given the climate here most guys wont be advertising or giving any peds with the dogs when they sell them, the rest will bullshit through their teeth to make the dogs sell for a premium.

best you know who your buying from and are familiar with the dogs background first hand so you get an idea of what your might get,

the papers mean shit, its the dogs behind your dog that count, if your dogs sire and dam and their sires and dams did well as hunters the odds are most of the time yours will excell at the task aswell,

at the end of it you have a good looking set of dogs their you should be proud off and my money is on that they would be down from the dogs mentioned and their were only a handfull imported which formed the foundation stock for what we have so all pitbulls in aussie will trace back to those dogs unless crosses with other breeds along the way

    cheers

didnt u say your dog has no rev head in him...

u also said your dog's sire called caesar..

so that could be it, but problem is the rev head in him, and also could be a coincidence

    Thanks Ausapbt,
So only a handful came in out of STP's Tag? That helps a lot. It's easy to trace a bloodline, but hard to get information on where the imports happened.
But I'd love to know who did Dad and Granddad are. Dammit I'd love to know the entire pedigree and learn it off by heart ;)

Masta of Game, I didn't say that my dog wasn't out of ol' Revhead (at least I hope I didn't, I better re-read my posts!). I got no idea what his line is outside of his Sire being 3 gens from STP's Tag, and his dam being Jeep/Redboy.
