im just stating my opinion I know people who use chains id just rather not use them im more of a kennel person because it gives the dog a little more freedom and with a kennel you don't have to worry about stay dogs coming up attacking your dog's My dog used to be an outdoor dog in a kennel. im not trying to say I know everything just stating my opinion

 

and in some counties chaining of a dog is illegal, I understand some people have to resort to a chain my neighbor has a dog on a chain that I helped her put on the chain because the dog could break out of anything else, I was just stating my personal opinion I once gave someone a chain to use on their dog I understand some people have to use chains and Im ok with that as long as the dog gets off once in a while, I was just simply saying how I would do it if I had a yard set up

 

A kennel does not offer a dog more freedom.

My dog is not in jail my dog loves her kennel she lays on her house sleeping all day and she pulls me trying to get into her kennel i dont like shelters because they kill innocent dogs theres a difference if there was nothing wrong with chains why are they illegal in some places i just stated my opinion if you learn to read i even said i have put my neighbors dogs on a chain and helped them buy a chain for their dog at least my dog doesnt have to have a 10 pound chain hanging from her neck day and night i keep my dog inside with me she sleeps on the couch not in a kennel not outside in a dog house on the couch where companions should be who is the better owner now my dog doesnt have to sleep in a box in the yard in the rain mine is inside with me ban me i dont care i dont want to be on a stupid forum with people who think is ok to keep your dog outside if you have too many dogs to keep inside thats your hint get rid of dogs, i wish i could put some of you on chains forced to live outside and see how you like it im pretty sure you wouldnt the dogs get lonely outside alone im the better owner my dog gets daily excercise stays inside an aircondition and heated house with a couch and bed to sleep on unlike you cruel people who keep your dogs outside on chains in boxes and you think thats ok, go chain yourselves outside im an amazing owner at least i know a chain is not a proper place for a dog to live not even a kennel is thats why i keep my dog living inside the house with me and she loves it, my dog sleeps with me in the bed most nights not outside alone a chain only contains an animal but doesnt keep animals from getting to them if chains were so good they wouldnt be illegal in some places, what are yall going to do when they become illegal were you all live if you all really loved your dogs they would be inside with you wou wouldnt chain your children outside if they didnt get along so dont treat your dogs like that i do not want to be on a forum where i get bashed and made fun of because of my opinion this page should be shut down for bullying people about their opinion people on this page cant have their freedom of speech without getting bashed for it, now while you make fun of me let me be a good owner and get my dog and put her in my bed where its nice and warm not outside in a fucking box but yet thats ok right a dog was created to be a companion not an animal you can leave on a chain just to breed any page that calls a dog ugly, chains a dog, and doesnt even care to rescue dogs is not a page that i want to be on ban me i want to be banned i get called the bad owner but at least my dog is inside

 

my dog eats great dog food, goes to the vet regular gets exercise and one thing you all don't do I keep my dog inside the house I treat my dog the way I would want to be treated

 

and another reason Im against chains is because someone I knew had their dog on a chain during a storm the dog freaked and strangled herself to death trying to get away had the dog been in a kennel or inside the house it would not have happened and she would still be alive, I have witnessed a dog on a chain get cuts by a chain and need medical care and the chain was made for a dog if you wouldn't want to be on a chain don't put your dog on one

 

My females that are in heat I take off the chain and put in a kennel and the majority of them bark nonstop to get back on the chain. I even have a dog with an amputated leg that prefers a chain over a kennel. Big heavy chains aren't used just a big enough chain to properly keep the dog secure and 10 lbs. of chain isn't hanging from their neck only about 12 to 18 inches are which weighs a pound or two at the most. And I'm pretty sure dogs were domesticated to work not be pets. This is a board for working dogs so if you can't respect that then maybe you should be banned

 

You keep saying your getting bullied for having an opinion but all I see you doing is throwing rocks at others for their opinions. And trust me when I say you are not the only person here who keeps a dog in the house. You can have your opinions but here's mine dogs are not people and shouldn't be treated like people nor should they have the same rights as a human. You can love an animal and respect it and still treat it like an animal.

 

Your dog was eating cold cuts and was getting skin issues as of the other day, as well as the other dog in your house. You are spinning all over the place. Stick to ONE story.

You're barking up the wrong tree here girly girl... I really can't understand why you feel the need to blast your naive ass "moral" based opinions all over the place. Your opinions mean little to nothing here, they weren't formulated by any type of factual information or personal experiences. All of these people here have been have had these dogs since before you were born. If you had any kind of half functioning brain and truly had a desire to learn you'd shut your mouth, respect these men and women and what they are so passionate about and dedicated to. I can only imagine you face these similar predicaments in other areas of your life. If you haven't yet, you soon will. College, if you really are about to go.... is no place for this type of mentality especially if you plan on attending a University. You're going to get a harsh reality check about just how little you actually know. Them professors don't fuck around and they will not tolerate you talking back to them, or questioning their logic, nor do they give a single fuck about what you have to say. Take this opportunity here for what it's worth and learn how to be a PRODUCTIVE member of a community. At the very least a tolerable one.
