One Of My Pups In The Litter Keeps Throwing Up After She Eats. I Do Not Know If It Is Because She Eats So Fast Or What. They Are Six Weeks Old Now. She Does Not Act Sick Or Anything. I Looked For Worms And There Is Nothing. She Always Eats It Back Up Right Away. Just Wondering If Anybody Might Know What Is Causing This. All Pups Where Dewormed Yesterday.

i would definitely take that pup to the vet right away, let me ask you this, is the pup gaining weight and growing along with the rest? we had a pup that had the same problem and ended up in surgery. she had a muscular problem where the muscle that runs along side the heart was reversed in location and was constricting the throat, forcing the dog to throw the food up and re-eat after it had softened. let me know how it turns out.

SHE IS THE RUNT AND WEIGHS ABOUT A POUND LESS THEN THE OTHERS. I TOOK HER IN YESTERDAY AND THE VET SAID TO KEEP AN EYE ON HER.

Since the vet has checked her did he give you any ideas on what could be wrong? I've seen dogs that literally gorge themselves, throw up, then eat some more but have no physical problems, but never on a pup that young.. Unless being the runt it is eating so fast in order to get its share that its choking itself...

HE DID NOT SAY WHAT IT COULD BE. I THINK IT IS BECAUSE HOW FAST SHE EATS THAT SHE DOES NOT TAKE TIME TO CHEW AND THEN CHOKES. ONCE SHE THROWS IT UP AND THEN EATS IT AGAIN SHE IS FINE.

Sounds like it's gorging itself, then choking.

I Am Thinking I Might Try Feeding Her By Herself Today. I Amgoing Try Feeding Her A Little Bit At Time Until She Is Full And See What Kind Of Response I Get From Her. She Is The Only Blak One In The Litter And She Is A Little Sweetheart.

Try feeding her by herself, and add some water to her kibble, problem should be solved then.

I Found The Problem. It Had Nothing To Do With The Dog Only My Own Stupidity. Igave The Pups A Rubber Dog Toy That Was Shaped Like A Chicken. I Noticed They Where Tearing It Up So I Immidatley Threw It Away And All Of The Pieces...i Thaught... Come To Find Out The Poor Little Girl Had Swallowed A Chicken Foot. Today After Work Ifed Her And She Threw Up And There It Was. I Mix Some Dry Food With Some Wet Food And Now She Looks Like A Liitle Bowling Ball. I Went To The Store And Picked Up A Kong Chew Toy Which I Know Is Very Safe. I Learned A Very Valuable Lesson. I Thank All Of You For Your Support And Help. Hopefully What I Have Shared Hear Will Help Others With Pups Or New Owners.
