Just for the hick of it...Show at least 10 breedings out of the line that you pick.Where the %'s of that breeding was high and produced good dogs.The litters had to have more than 3 or 4 pups too......If anybody has something to add to this to make it more exciting than please do so......

Very nice BB,but I wanted it defined a little more,like the %'s on rest of those litters.For instant how big was the litters and how many were good out of those,not just one dog out of each litter.Or say I had a litter of 8 and 5 to 7 were good,that's more of what I'm trying to say....now I know that there are lots of dogs out there,but lets see if we can come up with something even if it's just out of the one's we pick..or would that be too hard of a task,but I like to see %'s on each litter vs the times it's been bred and so on.....

 

This is a tricky question..The reason being, most people dont know how many pups were in so & so's litter unless a artical was written about said dog or you know the breeder of said litter personally..

With that being said..The Deacon/Assassinator breeding produced 5 champions..Taz/Sapelo produced 3 champions..Most know that Bo/Honeybunch threw 3 maybe 4(depending on who you talk to)champions..Etc..

There are many more breedings that produced multiple dogs that made champion,and even grand champion (ie: GrCh.Banjo & GrCh.BB Red) but I was just giving a example..

 

I know that would be the hard part cause,it's hard to do if you really don't know the # of the litters...so lets just do it like BB did....

 

Well if thats the case "Frisco" has about 30 champion and grand champion offspring...

 

Ch Tudor's Spike bred to Carver's Black Widow produced 9 pups (according to peds on-line), 4 of those being Ch Maloney's Toot, Ch Tudor's Polly, Ch Tudor's Baby, and Ch Tudor's Tippy. less than 50% turned out (again, according to some website), but they were worth there salt i'd gather, obtaining the titles they did.....

or ch c-shaw's gator bred to rising star's gypsy rom - 7 pups; alcatraz 2x, ch nugget, ch hoppie, ch miss gator, smoke 2x, and ch reba. that's 6/7 (again, according to some website).

Yes, but that 30 is out of literally hundreds of offspring. Not good %s if you look at the whole picture.

 

you cant count percentages accurate when how many dogs off Frisco went to pet homes? Frisco dogs were all about the ineternet generation and still is top of the ROM list. Think about it

 

No dis but frisco has over a 1000 offsprings,and with all the controversy around... him lets just leave him and dogs with suspect breeding and owners out of it if we can.Lets just talk about the ones where everything seems to be on the up-n-up....

 

I agree. 30 dogs out of hundreds - maybe even even a thousand - are not good odds at all. Sure, some went to pet homes, but the majority probably went to some type of sporting home. I could be wrong but I don't think TG would place that calibre dogs to just anyone who wanted a pet, would he...?

 

Whats not on the up and up with Frisco?.Some jerkoff claimed he was a cur,and THEN WAS EXPOSED as a liar..Wheres the contraversey?.

TG is the only person who knows (and Im sure he has records)how many females Frisco was bred to..F*** pedsonline..I can go on pedsonline right now and add 100 dogs saying they are off Frisco..Does that mean they really are?.

 

Yes maybe the percentage of champions was "low" considering the volume of gyps bred to him,but just because a animal doesnt champion out doesnt mean he isnt a quality dog..

Ch.Hickory was off Frisco/Spot..Who can tell me about his brother Oak?.Maybe not a Ch. but a quality bulldog indeed..Ch.Noodles was off Frisco/Trickbag..His sister Jewel didnt make Ch. but a quality bitch she was also..See where Im going?.

2 of the best gyps Ive seen were off Frisco..One was a double bred daughter of his,and the other was a triple bred daughter of his (so much for inbred dogs not being show quality)..Both had littermates that made Ch..

 

You dont think TG would sell dogs of that calibre to the public?.

Tg is a breeder who sells pups to the public..If his product was subpar he wouldnt stay in buisness..If you ask me his buisness isnt hurting..(ie: he sells quality animals)

 

Yes, I know he sells calibre dogs to the public. But would he knowingly sell dogs of that calibre to pet homes? If someone went up to TG & said "Hey, I'm just looking for a carpet orniment w/ fancy papers" would he have sold them a Frisco pup?

 

I dont know..I dont think he gets many that come out and blatanly state that they want a petbull though..maybe he does..I dont know..

 

See,this thread isn't about any one dog or person,so please lets get back to %'s......please....

 

The man has sold to everyone (pet owners like myself) and hes the one to buy good dogs back into his program. Im sure he has placed good dogs to the right people but many others werent due to this, again in my case, if i had an ACE i would never know this because hes just a pet.

I dont like this kind of mass selling but dogs like Mayday, Jeep, Frisco and breeders like Tom made possible many of us have meet this wonderful breed, specially out of USA where 75% of "pitbulls" aint worth a shit.

 

those who claim low percentages on Frisco dogs, IMO have not spent their days at conventions. You know if youre competing in the rodeo with one, you better bring a good dog

talk about low percentages, the main person hammering Frisco on this thread spends her days defending Zebo dogs, which are not even present at the rodeo, theyre not even around and never have been, check yourself

and if you come back with a list of Zebo winners like you always do, all I know is I have been around and those dogs were never there. The first things everyone asks when the dogs are being washed is how theyre bred and the word Zebo has never been mentioned. not once in nearly 15yrs of rodeos
