That was a dirty move on Silva's part. He may be Zuffa's biggest cash cow and the greatest fighter on the planet but that was bush league. He caught Sonnen with that shoulder shot with Sonnens mouth open. He's lucky he didn't break Sonnens jaw on some crazy shit. If youve never been caught with a shoulder shot to the jaw don't comment. Seems like sonnen is getting to Silva, one of the traits that makes Silva a good fighter is that he is very calm and does not fight with too much emotional content. I just hope sonnens shit talking didnt affect silva mentally leading him to fight with emotion and not being clear of mind, hence slipping up and losing the fight.

 

silva should be on the attack right out of the gate. hopefully it will be another sonnen clinic tonight. be he did say he has finished 2nd in the national championships so that may be all he can do.

You guys obviously only saw the second round because sonnen took the first, but as luck would have it silva ducked a spinning punch which made sonnen loose his balance and silva went for the kill right after he put a knee in sonnens chest, fair and square, so what is this bussiness about being a cur? The comment seems rather thoughless since plenty of fighters get tkoed the very same way sonnen got tkoed...you win some you lose some. Dont get me wrong I am not making apologies for sonnen, but the juice bullshit doesnt hold weight either since sonnen clearly dominated the 1st and paid for a mistake in the second, something that no one is better at capitalizing on than Silva. So go on with your pedestrian comments, they just expose those who write them.

 

man, the shit was 2 bad calls on the refs part 1 silva grabbed and held on and 2 he was still intelligently defending himself, that fight could have went longer for real. they need to check all those danm refs because they also stoped codys fight early to

 

To me it seems that alot not all of silvas fights he "gives" em the first round to feel em out. Didnt see this one but thats how he figjhts. Smart. Then waits for a mistake or uses what he learned in the first round to beat his opponent. Sometimes it dnt take to round 2 for it tho.
