Sorry to butt in here but my curiosity has the best of me. Nightmare you mentioned some king tut dogs and you having some of that also, whatever happened to those dogs?

I don't have to be a detective to know this isn't Gene posting but his nephew.
I don't need to be a detective because I lived those times and knew those people.
Pat didn't have to buy those dogs, he helped Lewis do the breeding.
As Gene would know, Lewis was the breeder of Jack & Maggie which produced Sister Sue, Peggy, Bouncer, ect.
I keep seeing the name posted in this thread as Frank, as in Frank Creed?
Nice I also knew Frank and so did you, then tell us how Lewis was able to come by Maggie from Frank to do these breeding?
I know what Frank told so lets see who knows these dogs.
BTW also where is Stabber buried? and again what was his brother's name that Frank also owned.
BTW how come does I.K. have all Frank's old pedigrees?
Tommy and Connie never bought any dogs from Maggie/Duke's litter. If they were suppose to get anything then it would have come from Lewis.
Funny I knew where Lewis lived and most did. Maybe someone really didn't want to know.

No Palmer didn't breed Zebo dogs. He might have sold some off to you but it wasn't a bloodline he was breeding.

Gar where do you see me talk down any dogs? When I make a comment it's almost always just me telling about an experience I had that relates to the topic at hand. You take it as some kind of putdown, well I can't help it if my experience doesn't conform to your wishes but what am I supposed to do lie about it?
To me you are like a little kid that lacks experience and spends his time bickering about some dogs like a soccer fan would about his team.

In every post you make you refer to buying or selling dogs, but we don't sell our dogs we have them for other purposes than to make money off them, but it's very clear to me who is trying to fool people here "for the love of money" as Don used to say.

As far as what our breeding program has and lacks, you have my email and pm here, use it we would welcome you to show us all our deficiencies.

Key yes there are things I liked very much about the dogs and others I didn't, just like all other families. I have never seen the perfect dog (except for gars secret recipe lol) but I think that the dogs could contribute certain qualities that would help to improve the ones we have and bring us a little closer to gars dogs lol.

Make no mistake though, what we have open is open even for Gar.

 

Gringo you always puyt the mayfield dogs down , , you may try to make out you dont but i remember all the snide comments you made , but just like the fact you have still some kershner mayfield blood (not my mayfield blood of choice) but you know how much that king tut would make your yard look like nothing you ever seen , but like i said , i have not interest in what you run , and if it wasnt for these dogs i ahve i wouldnt bother with dogs at all any more .I am not saying that your blod isnt good , hell you feed it so you have to like it,But i told you a while back that all that crossing your doing will always mean you wll need to get it back to what don always talked about , and like i said , like it or not if your trying to find that king tut blood or any untianted mayfield blood without kershners name on it , just ask gringo theres nothing to be ashamed of , just be honest that your pies recipie needs a little pure in it .

 

GRINGO JUST SEEN THAT SNIDE COMMNET ABOUT WHO IS TRYING TO FOOL WHO FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY, WELL MAYBE YOU DONT MAKE A CENT FROM YOUR DOGS , BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT I HAVE NEVER PUT ONE EURO IN MY POCKET YET ,BUT PLENTY LEAVES MY POCKET EVERY MONTH .AND AS FOR SHOWING YOU YOUR GNECTIC DEFICIENCES GRINGO, WEL IM ONLY ASKING AND STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER AS TO WHY SOEMONE WHO FEELS THE MAYFIELD BLOOD IS 20 MIN CUR BLOOD WOULD WANT TO ASK WERE HE CAN GET SOME TO OBVIUOSLY USE IN HIS OWN STOCK .WQhat you have never understood ,is that yours and many others enconters with mayfield blood has been via rod k ,and you were one of the more lucky ones cos yours turned out not bad , infact your breeding your male ,so if your outcrossed blood needs a hand , thats normall when you breed like that , you can never creqte a strong family doing that and sooner rahter than later you will need anOther cross to compensate FOR IT.The problem you have and many others is not really knowing how some of your dogs are truly bred (floyd/carver etc)so whennyou do find a dog to breed around and decide to go back to its family its unlikely that you are , and thats why for me im not intersted in that way .I was listening to an audio tape the other day of me talking to don,(i wished i had taped all my calls to him ) and i told him that a certainn dog was pretty pure and the type i liked ,and he reminded me about the snootydog and how even just a little of that dog poo would run the whole mess and you might never get it out , and he was correct.The only crossing you do is within a close family of dogs and that produces your different styles and abilty without crossing to completly outside blood of whcih you have no assurance of its truth or contorl of its effects on your own breeding pool.

 

Gar I remember you and gringo from the pure circle. Me and gringo have admitted our wrongs turns and have scratched back. ... you still slamming your own head in the corner with that pure piss spraying on yourself. I heard cassius was a street dog with no known breeding but was a great pit dog. I have seen personally how a dog starts out with one history and a few weeks later you find it has a completely different history that has nothing to do with the original so I wouldn't put much value into how that dog is said to be bred. He won over Ch Strider didn't he?

 

well who im happier hitting my head against the wall, but if gringo admitted his wrongs turns like you , then why is he still searching for the blood ? As for what you had of the mayfiled blood who , i would bet it was from rods yard or full of his and fosters name in it and not what we had and have ,so for me the convos with don were great .i infact am steering far closewr to his way than gringo ever has , or you by the sounds of it , and maybe if you post some peds of the mayfiled blood you had we can see why you say whatb you say about it , and maybe like gringo your mistake was taking it from the wrong yard .

well i never said i have hte secret recipe , i just believe in this blood and thats my right, and maybe if you had seen it you would not be tell ing me shove it down gringos throat , grigno is looking for it and knows what he needs , and as he is in uruguay and i am in europe its unlikely that our dogs will ever meet .but aks oyurself one ? If somebody had it all and didnt need the blood you have runing in the viens of your dogs ,why would they look for it? Maybe your ? Gar you have the right to believe anything you want but you don't have the right to discuss off-topic subjects and you are talking about dogs that have nothing to do with cassius clay and this post, if you read carefully, is supposed to be about cassius clay not about your dogs or my dogs or anyones dogs unless they happen to be named cassius clay so have some respect and use the mayfield post.

 

Let me set the record straight on the breeding of Divine's Cassius dog. I knew don divine way back in 1970. I met him at churchill downs race track where he was training horses. Don was from Harrodsburg ky. Let me state up front that cassius was NOT a corvino dog. He was not sired by teddy. He didn't have a drop of corvino blood. He was most likely a scaater bred dog. According to pat bodzianowski cassius was sired by a dog named duke. But, even Pat wasn't sure about that. Don had seen the dog in a roll when he was training horses in chicago. He tried to buy him but pat wouldn't sell. So don gets a jockey at arlington to buy him which he did. Don matched him into don maloney's Strider dog. Both dogs quit at near the 2 hour mark. Strider quit when his turn to scratch came up and Cassius refused to go on a courtesy scratch. I handled cassius once at dons farm in plant city. Pat himself told me cassius was a freak of nature. Pat never forgave don for the way he got the dog. Pat really never knew how cassius was bred. He had a kid steal him. John galona verified this. Both oat and don were good friends of mine. Don shuffled papers on cassius to make it appear he was sired by teddy. CASSIUS WAS SCATTER BRED! Period!

 

You shoulda been around 5 years ago. This place was LIVE son! A hand full of well respected dogmen were active posters, and didn't mind disagreeing. Lots of good info if you can search through the older stuff from 2010-2014ish. Last 2 years ain't been the same. Lots more new ppl come on and already know everything. I lurked for years before joining. You woulda got exposed QUICK back then for just repeatin what you heard!!! Better have had first hand or GREAT second hand as you see lol
