Mayweather vs Ortiz (whos gonna win)

this on is going down on the books for sure................Very unsposrtmanlike conduct on both fighters, Ortiz fucked up and he tried to apologize. Had Mayweather not lost his temper and beat Ortiz up, he would have changed the perception people have over him. It doesn't really matter, two unethical fighters in the ring. The ref is also to blame for this mishap.

Mayweather said "his dirty trick my dirty trick...." and then went OFF on that old commentator, yea that was classy and worthy of a champion. LOL NOT!!!!. Kids look up to winners but I hope the don't look up to this guys composure, and persona.

If he wants the rematch, I will give him a rematch......let there be a rematch for me fortunatley....Mayweather... Boxing....aint get'n my money.................

 

you gotta watch more boxing - floyd and the interviewer(larry merchant) do not like each other and this is their third dust up in a post fight interview. Was it a class win?- no Was the intentional head but classy?- no but thats the fight game. This game isnt about politics,speeches and being a nice guy,its all about the hurt, its about the skills you display in the ring, and the wins. in terms of that you're right Floyd exceeds Manny in all of those classes by far. If they ever meet in that squared circle, Mayweather will walk away victorious, and maybe easier than you think

You know when the bell rings your are supposed to come to the center of the ring bump gloves and fight, and the ref is suppose to instruct the fighters to do so. I think Ortiz showed the world he could take Floyd out of his game and if the match had been fairly called by the ref the match would have taken a different direction. The ropes doesn't give Floyd anywhere to go but to fight and he can't do that in close contact. Whatching that short match reminded me of Sugar Ray Leonard fights to some degree minus the unsportman like conduct. Glad i didn't pay to whatch it.

 

Honestly, I would've liked to see it keep going... that headbutt was the best shot Ortiz threw.
Maybe it would have started to get a little good lol

 

No bells rang. the ref told em to Go... and turned to look @ the time manager and tell em to start the clock... mean while mayweather was punching Ortiz in the face Lol.

I think it was Ortiz who got taken out of his game... thats why he threw that headbutt.

 

To claim you are the best boxer and pull this dirty low class move is chicken shit.

 

As a former fighter and fancier of the sweet science I think that Mayweather was worried about Ortiz power and saw his window to end the fight so he took it. My personal opinion means little but to me Mayweather calls himself the best of all times, to be the best you have to not only win but do so in a dominant and classy fashion. I have lost all respect for Mayweather jr. after watching this cheep cowardly win.

The amount of momentum that Ortiz projected his head at Mayweather with he could have knocked his teeth out or broke his jaw.He is lucky that he was not DQ'd.Ortiz got a second chance in boxing after quitting and in thee biggest fight of his life he chose to act like a complete fool in the ring.Ortiz was also throwing elbows early on and tried to butt Floyd before that.I think he was going to try and beat Floyd the way that Hatton beat Tsyzu.

 

sorry sir if ur a fan of mayweather, but nothing change. and no. I don't have to watch a lot of boxing to know the difference between manny and floyd. I'm not saying flyod doesn't have skills and power of course he does. but compare to many... dont know sir. and by the way manny is a nice guy, God fearing and most of all "THE POUND FOR POUND KING" peace.

 

I also notice that sir. Ortiz got power any how they are both dirty. does not fyt in my taste.

 

Not a Mayweather fan but the stupid shit Ortiz pulled could have ended a career and I do believe that is why he (Floyd) reacted like that.

 

I seen it the same way RRL....i told the wife earlier in the 4th that Ortiz was throwing his head more than his hands....seen it coming. I think it would have been a great fight for ortiz had he played the game right......i really feel the whole fight was fucked up by the ref also. I should have bought lottery tickets instead of that fight.... wtf?...but if i could invent a time machine ide put Larry Merchant back in his prime and pay to watch Floyd set him straight....I liked the way Larry made sure to put his hand on him to try and get Mayweather to act out again.

 

yeah at that point it was not about being "classy" ...it was more like this guy just could have taken away everything I've worked for with one stupid foul.And Larry and Floyd will make up LOL.Merchant did recant and say Mayweather would have kicked his ass but he sure would try and fight him.Good thing Larry wasn't drinking tonight or he may have took a swing at Floyd LOL.

 

i just made it home and all i got to say is.... WWE bullshit... what a convenient way to add some more drama to it. the fight was goin along just as boxing matches go and then it just went to shit in an instant. i been drinking and maybe my judgement is skewed but to me all i saw was two people get paid without fighting like men till the best man won . i tend to have a good eye for bullshit,and it was clear that ortiz was out classed when the match began but....really.. this. boxing has diminished to the point that it has to resort to BS to get views. im just saying if they dont hurry up and do something fast pro boxing will be dead. they need to get some of these big D linemen from college and pro and get back to having good heavy weight fights with good ole american brutality.... just sayin..

 

and im not taking up sides as to who was wrong and who was right i just think the whole thing was BS on both parties i will go as far out to say they talked about pulling this before hand

 

What a ripoff, it was all a bullshit scam to defraud people of their money. Neither fighter is worth a shit, the whole boxing comunity isn't worth a shit anymore,,, all you had to do was see th first match (vargas-lopez) to see it was all a set-up scam to rip folks off of their money. Elibred said it best, 2 people getting paid for doing nothing but showing up on tv a couple of times for a show.
