Todays staffords it's a shame

Hello IS, I believe the best today should just about be superior in most departments. I remember talking to a mate of mine who lived in Ireland who had dabbled in Wheatens Bullies and Staffs and he said it in one word for me evolution. All sport has evolved from feeding methods to trainning methods. They also have had longer to evolve under the right hands through a longer process of selection. It is just not terriers but most things. I might be wrong but I would back the modern athlete against the athlete of old. Records get smashed every year in just about every sport. Believe me I'm not running down the achievers of the past. I believe you learn from the past and improve on it I believe the way is forward. Cheers. JMO.

wallyy........it depends on the breeders, lol. Game dogs have been in east europe for about 20 yrs. SBT have been in the UK for 200..........get my drift :eek:

I can understand I know you are trying hard, I'm Glad you brought god into it' Have you tried praying. May-be some divine intervention might be able to remove the scales from your eyes and give you the gift of sight( it worked for Saul) and then you might get the strength to add something constructive and muster enough strength for an opinion.
