Well damn if you go back far enough teams like Harvard were winning national championships i dont care about what happened 30+ years ago all im saying is that in todays time the SEC is the best hands down.

I Know I left out a few but I gave Fla. a pass because my daughter/granddaughter live there. I have never been to S.C. and I actually like the state of Tenn and I left off Kentucky because well hell its Kentucky

Credit is given where credit is due. Utah beat bama that day because Utah outplayed bama hell lets be realistic here folks. The Utes came into SEC country (New Orleans LA.) and whooped up on bama in what was more or less a home game for them. But one game doesnt prove shit.

Anyone who says the SEC isnt the most dominant conference in the country is just ignorant. The fact that more NFL players and more NFL starters are from the SEC then any other conference proves that. Im done with this.

the best players doesnt always mean the best teams just ask wade phillips.

and I dont think that in most years that the top 2 or 3 of the sec is better that the top 2 or 3 of some of the other conf but the bottom of the sec is better than the bottom of the the oter confs in most years

but until the bcs is scrapped for a playoff system we will never know for sure because #1 playing #2 doesnt mean the 2 best teams very often
