How long before before the game bred pit is a memory?

With what is going on nowadays, I think we all know that the game bred Pit will be a memory someday. I just turned forty and don't think I will live to see this truly sad day. But, it is coming.

 

im 21 and i really hope that its not in my lifetime

 

unfortunately, it IS comming, and way sooner than some of us would like to admit

 

This is the way that I see it. Society has enacted strict laws in this country to punish those caught. They have put the dog fighters on the most wanted list and anyone caught doing something will go to jail. This, of course feeds the rats that are on the fringes of the game.

The gene pool has been significantly watered down with the bully and blue craze. Those kennels that do breed game are being squeezed like you would not believe because they know that any dog that they have there name on may in fact be the one that lands them behind bars.

Am I missing something that would make someone get involved with dogs nowadays?

 

I hope not plus Mexico is to close to Texas and shares such a big border....

It will never die... as many people that get out of the dogs two more get into them. Everything is illegal nowadays, it doesn't stop everyone but a good percentage. It drives away alot of good ppl thats for sure, but doesnt kill it.

In America maybe about 20 to 25 more years til they are all but died out in America, Now In parts of east europe and parts of asia a long long long time if ever. The public HATES dog fighting, the folks that fight, and the breed dog fighters use. They HATE everything about keeping, conditioning, feeding, and matching a bull terrier... Just facts, the mass of people buy into the aspca and hsus crap.... 5 to 10 "dog fighters" get busted a month, they jail time keeps getting longer and longer, a damn dog is not worth your obligation to your family, THAT is your duty if you have a family, THEY come first, and any man that doesn't hold up his duties as a family man is a sorry nickel son of a bitch. Yes I love the Bull Terrier, I have given my life to them and will devote the rest of my life to them, but I will not put them over my duties because after all they are just damn dogs... I'd hate to see them die out, but IN THIS country its going to happen and your a fool or very ignorant if you think other wise... JM2C

Ladies and gentleman, it is a dead game laddies. When the man will allow people to get off on drug charges to expose dog fighting rings, the writing is on the wall. Now that they have the R.I.C.O. statutes applied it is over. Just so those that don't know, anything that you own, property, stocks, bonds, time shares, autos, fall under the illegally obtained proceeds from an ongoing criminal enterprise. Plus, 20 years to life is more then enough time to make anyone give up there mothers. Be very careful out there today.

 

It will always be people with the dogs that do right by them.
As long as there is a handful of people the dogs will live and so will the purpose.
There are 50 states, mostly being rural area... there will be people out there

 

i mean, in 20-25 years... people on this very site will still have the dogs lol others of the 350 million population we will have.

 

There's always gonna be country boys in the hills and the hollers and the swamps and sticks so I think it will be hard to do away with the dogs. The game will be ruined because eventually there will only be riff raff who don't care about family values or doing time who don't have anything to lose but there's a lot of country out there so stamping out the dogs will be hard to do. Mexico sounds better all the time. I know you can't drink the water, but it's becoming Lesa populated all the time cause they keep comin here

 

i don think they will ever sompletely die. People have them that keep to themselves and they will be the only people that will stay with them.Wont get to show em off but people who love the dogs just bc they love them and dont feel the need to show em off or brag will stay in the game. As long as someone has a male and female there will be gamedogs. People will import them, just not gonna die completely. THE GAME MIGHT DIE OUT, BUT THE DOGS WONT

 

The reason that I posted this topic is because at this moment I'm forbidden to own anything resembling a Pit bull. But, those that know me in the Metro area know where and why this is.

The post is a heads up to those out there that are still Bulldogging. There are eyes all over the place. I've recently been contacted by a former friend from Camden NJ who has dogs placed in Pennsylvania and Ny and he wants to discuss illegal things over the cell phone. He knows that I'm forbidden to own a dog and still wants to talk. I hope this helps someone.

 

Very true.The gamedog will have to be imported from Mexico or Canada.It won't be long before they confiscate them at airports.So u will have to drive across the border.Customs will be a bitch.Its closer to extinction then u think.Dogmen will have to go underground deep south and midwest they might be able to survive to appoint.Like it was said before the dogmen that are into the dogs because its in their blood and love game dogs will find away to survive.But the ones that just get into the dogs for something to do(drug dealers) and inner city kids will find something else to do.
