Can you pm me on who JC really is? Just asking I'm a beginner here, all I know is that I thought that Floyd B. bred those dogs. Considering that it came from him, & his ideas as a breeder, also who were his true friends to obtain such great dogs. Yeah, he (Bullyson) quit, when he faced or went against his own (son) blood. Can you imagine you pitting a good sweater cock, & you face his own offspring whether crossed to a kelso, roundhead, or just crossed to another sweater. Man, it's just tough... I would do the same as what he (Floyd) did on breeding, & keeping it tight. I guess it was others that utilized it (blood) to there upperhand or experiences, but I have a feeling that he kept it tight, as how he wanted it.

I know I was taught a long time ago by an old man (passed now) but had a great deal of knowledge and he said ANY dog will quit in the right conditions, that saying includes (JEEP,MAYDAY,REDBOY,BOOMERANG,ART, RASCAL, CHINAMAN AND THE LIST GOES ON) Carver was known for a breed, not conditioning. how could a Cur throw so many good dogs. I think we all would let HONEYBUNCH,COWBOY,MAVERICK LISTS GOES ON, SLEEP IN OUR HOUSE. If Jeep would have not been in perfect condition do you think he would have won the Homer show. If he would have lost like Bullyson did would you have a dog right out of him. For those still in the dark. That's what the argument between Mayfield and Boudreaux was all about. Mayfield believed that Boudreaux didn't put the real ped up for those dogs and believe them to be bred down from his bitch...Cry Baby if I recall correctly.
