Nice read I like Jocko and Jeep very much great pit dogs from the past.

 

Why would Jocko want to go into a dog 3-6 lbs below him.. Jocko was a 46-48 and Jeep was a 42-43.. Why didnt Jocko go after Chinaman or go after Homer when Homer won at 45? Why would he pick a dog that is so much smaller than him.. I bet chavis did want Mr Crenshaw to push the weight.. That would be idiotic..

nvm I just found it to be at 46 my mistake

 

they don't part the dogs when they turn . they wait to get a clean handle after the ref says to . then they scratch in turn only when you can get a clean handle . the match is not over until the dog makes it out of the pit . you talk about them laying around for 3 + hr. but the Buck x Sandman match was the same . if it's hot and their not in great shape they may get an out of hold count . but this does'nt mean they are curs . it's all in the shaping of the dogs when it goes that long . good shape better show .

They will ALL quit if pushed too hard. Rascal produced many great dogs and the line continues to work well today.....
