Charlie was a bulldog., And dont let it be confused i only copied and pasted this story. I am not the one who said jeep ran from jocko., As i am a fan of both bloodlines. just a topic of interest. Also thought it might be nice for all the petbull people on here to know where there dogs came from. Again just a story folks.

 

At least who knows for sure how it really was....it doesnt matter because they put Bulldogs to Bulldogs and thats for sure!

I was taken by the dogs technique. I've only seen one other dog do it. My dog.

He'd climb up an opponent(some idiot's unleashed dog)get right next to his left ear and growl as if he was talking some sense into the dog. If the dog was smart it'd listen and back off. If it didn't... it was chomped a few times to push the message.

I was always amazed to see the way he put his front legs around the other's neck. He wouldn't get bitten and the other dog would find out fast that it was outmanouvered and in a strong, unbreakable grip.

 

WTF??? What are you trying to say? Was the "opponent" even a bulldog? I dont know of any REAL bulldogs that will let another dog get on top of them with no resistance.

He should hit with no mercy. No questions asked, no warnings.

Why is your dog unleashed as well as the idiots? Why would you let your dog "face" an idiots dog?? You sound like you are about as smart as your "opponents" owner.

Supposedly the Judge of Homer/Jeep lived in Boone Iowa and told me Jeep turned a lot and kept jumping up from homer to not get bitten...he was trying to go over the wall...but I cant vouch if that old man was the real deal or if he was a liar but everyone said he was the judge and was honest...but I never heard of him doing it with Jocko....but then again who knows stranger things have happened.....

It happened when my dog was on its leash. It happened with a Rotty and a Dalmation and some other big breed. They came to him because they were off the leash. When they made the move they didn't realize how fast he is and before you knew it they were pinned. Only the Dalmation kept up the aggression and it got chomped and left with six punctures according to the owner that thought that she could let her dog wander at will in the neighbourhood.
Everytime that we would go through the park into the market the dog would see us and stand there. I would get the owner's attention and she would leash her dog . As soon as the dog got leashed it became aggressive while it stood behind its owner. No offence taken.

 

I thought that if a dog tries to jump the match is over... they fight because they want too... you know? Maybe I'm wrong on the rules, but I always thought that was it.

 

well i think it was a good story and if anyone has anymore post up plz i would really like to hear about them and anyone know were i can read more storys like these

Right Red Hot, if a turn was made, and called they would be taken to scratch. If one of the dogs didnt want to go, this was his time to either stand there and do nothing, or jump the wall he's got his nose into. If the dog jumps, or stands the line when its his turn, the fight is over. The dogs have every opportunity to quit, its as easy as turning away and standing there. Does anybody know how many handles were made during this show?

 

Heck yeah I would call it game dog. Remember that Ch Homer was considered a hard biting monster. (I am taking your word for it) If Jeep was on the bottom for 3 hours he certainly was not taking a nap or getting a tan. He was getting worked by a dog with a "gator" mouth. Yet, each time it was time to scratch, Jeep did just that. He went because he refused to give in (cur out). Yes, your own words give merit to Jeep's gameness. Now, if he was in a fight were he had dominance for 3 hours, his gameness would remain in question.

sorry if you were offended, but this is an open forum to public opinions, and nothing in my post was directed at "rockys human" or "homosexuals" as a whole so if you feel the need to represent or defend homosexuals i would imagine there are other forums out there that are strickly for and about the whole rainbow "thing". so my condolences if your truly hurt....to be honest "the game" as you call it has no room for sensitive people. (once again just my opinion) thanks for your understanding.

 

No worst of all jumping may cause him to turn and have to scratch.,. what your thinking of is if he jumps over the wall then its over...

Well we all know handling has something to do with matching. If in fact jeep was trying to jump the wall then he would have probably done it when it was his turn to scratch. and if he wasn't game then he would not have came across the pit and put his mouth on homer. So if he was trying to jump the wall or not coming across and homer's handler released him then he is an idiot and doesn't know what he is doing. Now knowing the caliber of these two dogs and what was at stake as a result of this match then i would assume that both handlers knew exactly what they were doing. I'm not taking any sides or defending any dog. I wasn't there and i believe both dogs produced great ones but if jeep was really this bad then i don't see how he won. just my take on it.

 

homer bit jeep on the ass and thats when he "tried" to jump the wall not on a release. what would you do if a dog bit you on the ass? probly jump also. lol but anyway id rather feed dogs off rascal than jeep and rascal quit twice so.. who cares? lol
