Re: my family
Thats a nice car. It is possible to get those numbers out of a Skyline. My mechanic is building a rb26det (I believe) and he expects to get 1100 hp out of it and he says that it isn't a very big build. I think he is BSing though. But, there are craploads of Skylines that are running well over 1000 hp.
I have a 91 mr2 turbo that I am building right now. It just got its 3sgte w/lsd swap a couple of weeks ago. -

Re: my family
No, the skylines can be modified to reach 1400 and some even have been 1500 but it takes more than a few parts here and there to modify them to that hp.. however, they are built to take it.
Stock engine only produces around 276 HP and the R33 is the slowest stock production skyline GTR ever built ... (I'd still take one lol)
I have the 240sx and with the stock SOHC ka24e (only around 140 hp) with little mods have it up to 250 right now... with potential to be 350hp. Most people swap out for the SR20det ... -

Re: my family
Yeah, the guy that did my engine swap is a 240sx specialist. He has one with a sr20det swap with 400 or 700 hp in it (can't remember) that he uses in the D1 Grand Prix drift circuit. The team is Tiger Racing in Atlanta.
