We are dedicated to the preservation of the pit bull in its original form as a game-bred dog and in its modern incarnations as a loving companion pet and top competitor in weight pull competitions and conformation shows.

We are opposed to all forms of animal cruelty, and do not promote any illegal activities, but we celebrate the history of the pit bull and value its qualities of courage, strength and tenacity as the essence of the breed.

We are therefore against all forms of breed-specific legislation, and work to protect the constitutional rights of pit bull owners.

Default Fatal Dog Attacks - book.
Hello.

Looking at possible books to order. Has anybody on the forum read this book: Fatal Dog Attacks - Stories Behind the Statistics, by Karen Delise. It looks like a well needed book on the fight against bsl. So, if you have read it, how did you find it - informative, well written, is it worth a spot on you bookshelf? The ADBA are selling it - they don't give any details on it, but there is this link though:

It is a book that has some good facts but as with anything some of the information in the book could also be misinterperted. Ithink the book is worth buying for your own educational purposes.
