I put my dogs Orijen and no they have horrible gas. It's really bad.

My dogs get Diamond "energy" and once a week I drizzle a little bacon fat across the top they love it! 
And once a month I give them each one deer bone cooked with a little meat on it .

I've found a pet store that carries everything and I've switched to Canidae ALS with the 4 meat ingredients. Its $24 for a 15lb bag. The Evolve was fine and I recommend it but I've heard great stuff about Canidae and it was only $1 or $2 more than the Evolve I was feeding.

has anyone put a dog through a keep using a raw or mainly raw diet ? if so what were the pros and cons ?

i have fed kirklands which i believe is packaged in the states as diamond, i thought it good for the money.

i fed kirkland for a while and i just couldn't keep weight on my dogs with it, as soon as i switched back to the diamond natural and puppy for the youngin they were back to a better weight and have been lookin good.

100% better feeding raw in a keep...no 2 ways about it

Eagle Pack Holistic Lamb and Rice..tried Canidae, was very dissapointed because it was nothing but loose stool. I mix dry food with Innova EVO beef. Feed only 2 cups a day for a 45lb dog.

I was feeding Fromm Adult Gold, but I just switched to Blue Buffalo. I'm happy with the results of both foods.

I feed all of my adult dogs sports mix which is a high energy food mainly marketed to hunting dogs and i feed my pups and pregnant bitches nutro max puppy chow
