The Pitbull Project is dedicated to the education and preservation of these wonderful breeds. My name is Violetta Madej, and I have fallen in love with pitbulls. At one point, I too was influenced by the media's pathetic perception of of these dogs, until I got my own pitbull. I then decided to go out and do my own research, since I didn't understand why such wonderful dogs were getting the bad end of the stick. Through this website, I hope to share some of my findings, combining some of the most useful and reliable information on and off the net, into one website. The Pitbull Project aims to raise awareness about responsible bully-breed ownership, as well as to provide bully-breed owners and the general public with excellent resources, whether it deals with breed specific legislation or breeding.

Pitbulls are banned in Ontario. The banned-aid coalition has hired Toronto laywer, Clayton Ruby, to challenge Bill 132. We will get our day in court!
Banned Aid is a coalition of five dog organizations who are working together to defeat breed specific legislation in Canada:

American Staffordshire Terrier Club of Canada

Advocates for the Underdog
