my neighbor just came to my door and suggested that i should keep my pit bulls inside for the next week or so...what the f---!!! i asked him why..he responded that a guy was walking with a pit outside my house without a leash. The dog ran up on a female college student ( i live right by LSU) who was walking her chihuahua. My neighbor was outside sweeping and said he saw this whole incident coming as the guy was antagonizing the pit...get em boy!.....i interrupted and asked what they guy and pit looked like as i know most people around here with pits. I knnow exactly who he was talking about- an immature pit owner who rolls his dog. he said the girl immediately picked up her dog but the pit jumped up and snatched the dog. my neighbor immediately ran over to her. the pit was "shaking" the small dog and the pits owner was laughing and encouraging the whole thing. the girl jumped on top of the pit and that was when my neighbor ran up. he said he began to hit the pbt with the broom and was screaming at the owner to get his dog. the guy restrained the dog but he took his time.the girl sustained some nice scratches and non-serious bites; i am unsure of the condition of her dog but my neighbor said he didnt think he would make it.
the guy was walking through our parking lot about thirty minutes later when an animal control officer showed up and took the pit from him. its ashame that people like this ruin it for others who try so hard to promote the good side of the pit bull

That is a shame. People like that shouldn't be allowed to have an animal, any animal. That guy is just cruel and heartless.

This is a primary example as to why breeders should very carefully select who they sell pitbulls to. This guy should have never had the right to own a pitbull. A pitbull isn't for everyone especially individuals with problems. This is one sick puppy!
