The Demonstration in D.C. November 8,
and the Hearing
The Demonstration planning is going well and the permit is on the way!
Lets Demonstrate outside the Dirksen Building and then go to the Hearing together!
All are invited to take part in this unique effort to say NO to the PAWS Bill.
The Senators wont be able to misunderstand our message if we all join together on the 8th in person!
It is requested that all that can come to the Demonstration register by emailing PAWSDEMOLIST@aol.com (http://us.f314.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Compose?To=PAWSDEMOLIST@aol.com) .
Then you will know exactly where to meet, when, and other details, such as identifiers to wear. These identifiers will be useful so we all know each other, and will make a "silent statement" against PAWS while attending the Hearing.
The "NO PAWS" Bus plans to be there with a special large Logo now created just for the event! The Bus will be quite a backdrop for our group while outside the Dirksen Building!!
The fund for fuel to get the Bus to the Demonstration is not quite at goal, so any individual, club or organization is urged to help support this 40 foot Billboard in D.C against the PAWS Bill! The fuel needed is estimated to cost: $2500.00. A 40 foot bus from Texas to D.C at 5 mpg is alot of diesel! Please help.
This bus will be traveling from Texas to Washington D.C. fully decorated for the trip, so this Billboard against PAWS will be rolling for many hours through the West and the South. To donate to the fund via PayPal (monies will be refunded if goal is not met): www.repo-pac.com (http://www.repo-pac.com/)
The Repo-Pac is the legislative division of the primate group, Simply Simian.
Remember! It takes ALL of us working together, of ALL species interests, to keep our right to own animals.
Head for D.C. on the 8th!! We CAN do this!!

November 8 Washington D.C. "NO PAWS!" Demonstration (Update)
Since the announcement of Santorums November 8th hearing was announced the suggestions for a Demonstration have been heard!
Any Club or individual that opposes the PAWS Bill: S.1139 can help !!
LETS DO IT!!
Although a huge crowd in D.C. protesting PAWS would be WONDERFUL we WILL be seen in any size gathering.
Our emails are being answered with canned pro-PAWS responses..our calls are being routed to Santorums office, but if we are at the Hearing with our message of "NO PAWS!" it WILL be seen by Legislators!
It WILL be possible to attend the hearing according to my information, so we could demonstrate our "NO-PAWS!" point of view outside, and then quietly make our presence known at the Hearing as well.
Can you come to Washington D.C, Tuesday, November 8th?
If so, sign up as directed below. This is could be something completely unique in all our efforts to Kill the PAWS BILL, and could be very effective.
The group willing to drive the Bus from Texas to D.C. is obtaining the necessary permits, etc., for the Demonstration, but NEEDS the FUNDS for FUEL to make this all happen.
ANY size donation is needed to get the wheels turning and the Demonstration a reality.

FIGHT PAWS a UNIQUE new way. Do it today!!! TIME is short.
Heres how to start and more details:

"NO-PAWS!!!" DEMONSTRATION AND BUS PROJECT
As a large billboard traveling from Texas on Americas highways thorough the South to Washington D.C. the NO- PAWS DEMONSTRATION BUS will be the most visible effort yet created to get the word out to Americans that the PAWS Bill: S. 1139 must be stopped!!
This bus is owned by the REPO-PAC "Simply-Simian", a primate organization devoted to the right to own animals. "Simply Simian" is very aware that all species owners must band together to win this fight., and the PAWS Bill is one of our greatest challenges to date.
With a round trip planned with the bus fully decorated, thousands will see our "NO PAWS!"
message about the PAWS Bill as they pass by!
This moving Billboard for the "NO-PAWS!" Demonstration will be a major focal point for the planned Demonstration in Washington on November 8 on Capitol Hill.
More information on the Demonstration will be forthcoming.
We urge all that read this to plan on coming to Washington on November 8 to let the Senator Santorum and the Agriculture Committee know where WE, as serious hobby breeders and multi-species owners ,stand on the PAWS Bill.
Where do we stand?
If you join the Demonstration..right on Capitol Hill saying NO to PAWS: S. 1139 on NOVEMBER 8!!
What better way to get attention for our views and draw additional supporters, (or more media!!) than us..and the" No PAWS Bus" on Capitol Hill!
This distinctive 40 foot bus will be badged with a newly created "No- PAWS" logo, as well as the familiar image of the circle with slash through it "NoPAWS" logo we all know so well!
Supporting sponsors helping to fund fuel and badging costs for the "No-PAWS!" Bus will have the option of having their name, or organization placed on the outside of the Bus as well for this special trip.
We need to raise $2500.00 for the "No PAWS" bus, with estimated diesel fuel costs at $2000.00 (5 to 6 mpg )round trip, Texas ,to Washington D.C. The additional funds are for badging the exterior of the "No-Paws" Bus. ( We are not yet at goal. Thanks to all who have contributed so far!!)
With the millions of dollars HSUS has for advertising and lobbying, and the many thousands other organizations have spent for pro- PAWs propaganda in newspapers, this is a project WE CAN afford to do. Will you, or your organization/ Club, please support this HUGE (40 foot!!) opportunity to get the word out AGAINST PAWS..mile after mile?
To Contribute to the "NO-PAWS" Demonstration Bus Trip( by November 5):
(Via Pay Pal): http://www.repo-pac.com/ (http://www.repo-pac.com/)
IF COST GOALS ARE NOT MET, ALL MONIES WILL BE RETURNED UPON REQUESTand the bus trip cancelled.
