Dogs Need Water Just Like Humans. If They Are Thirsty They Will Drink. Is She Eating?

You probably heard about Gatorade for dehydration.

Could the dog be sick, because I've never heard of a dog getting tired of water.

I don't think I have ever heard of a dog getting tired of water either. Maybe you should consult a vet.

i don't think they can get tired of drinking water, but you can put a touch of apple cider vinager in the water. it won't hurt a thing. and infact helps to keep the kindeys clean.

i mix a LITTLE beer in the water sometimes as a treat and some time a lil gatorade after a run but its usually just enough to color the water. we have one that you cant leave a bloody mary laying around or its goooone.

If you really think he is bored with water, I would give him pedalite (did I spell that right?) that would be better than beer, gatorade, gin and tonic,

Im going broke becouse my dogs are now raging alcholics, due to me giving them beer. Now i spend 40 dollars a day on there habit.
All they do is sit around lapping up beer, smoking ciggarettes and getting in drunken fights.I am getting so sick of cleaning up there puke every morning!!
Is there such thing as doggie AA?

Water. The dog needs water. Beef/chicken broth is not great for them & has waaay to much sodium. The dog's body needs water. If he's not drinking enough water, bring him to your vet.

mmmmm bloody mary sounds good right now...

Give the dog 3 beers if he is jumping around too much... Puts them right out...

also, just a thought, your levels of chlorine may be high.(Perhaps your dog, simply, doesn't like the smell). Here, you can actually smell it in the water. If you can't give your dog spring water, after it comes out of the faucet, stir it for a few minutes. You'll actually smell the vapors eminate, if your levels are high.

Just buy your dog Ozarka Spring Water by the gallon... Maybe he/she has high standards for drinking water...

Good point. Same issue here. I switch to spring water when I can actually smell the chlorine, because I figure they can, too!

Can't be good for any of us!

You guys are a trip. Miles - pool water, the same water that the neighbor kids peed in, ewe. lol.

I'd recommend the vet as mentioned earlier if the dog refuses to drink water. If you don't feel they are getting enough water, soak their food in it until the food swells up, at least this way they are getting some water.

LMAO, that is just a shame. You mean to tell me you wouldn't share your pool.

Mental Note: Do not go swimming if Miles is in the water.
