The Demonstration in D.C. November 8,
and the Hearing
The Demonstration planning is going well and the permit is on the way!
Lets Demonstrate outside the Dirksen Building and then go to the Hearing together!
All are invited to take part in this unique effort to say NO to the PAWS Bill.
The Senators wont be able to misunderstand our message if we all join together on the 8th in person!
It is requested that all that can come to the Demonstration register by emailing PAWSDEMOLIST@aol.com (http://mail.yahoo.com/config/login?/ym/Compose?To=PAWSDEMOLIST@aol.com) .
Then you will know exactly where to meet, when, and other details, such as identifiers to wear. These identifiers will be useful so we all know each other, and will make a "silent statement" against PAWS while attending the Hearing.
The "NO PAWS" Bus plans to be there with a special large Logo now created just for the event! The Bus will be quite a backdrop for our group while outside the Dirksen Building!!
The fund for fuel to get the Bus to the Demonstration is not quite at goal, so any individual, club or organization is urged to help support this 40 foot Billboard in D.C against the PAWS Bill! The fuel needed is estimated to cost: $2500.00. A 40 foot bus from Texas to D.C at 5 mpg is alot of diesel! Please help.
This bus will be traveling from Texas to Washington D.C. fully decorated for the trip, so this Billboard against PAWS will be rolling for many hours through the West and the South. The Repo-Pac is the legislative division of the primate group, Simply Simian.
Remember! It takes ALL of us working together, of ALL species interests, to keep our right to own animals.
