Defense argument and justification of EDNAH- Did she miss the crate with the puddle of green shit in it. Stacy needs to
pay closer attention to the news.
Let's set this straight. I have researched this issue and have found that Pasado's is, in fact, ARmed & dangerous. The facts alone, that to take their tour, and that their address is NOT listed, and that you have to bring your own lunch, (vegan only - no meat) is a dead giveaway.
Keeping that in mind, let's look at the whole picture.
1. Santorum asks Bush for federal subsidy for HSUS to be the "home rescue" for Katrina animals.
2. HSUS takes charge of rescue. Collects well over 5 million for the rescue efforts from unsuspecting public.
3. HSUS picked and chose who would get dogs and who would not. Pasado's was one of them that could get dogs.
4. They claimed that they would reunite the dogs with the owners and those dogs were to be listed on the Petfinder list for those
owners looking for their animals.
5. HSUS paid for each dog that was rescued. Once the "organization" was paid for the dogs by HSUS, those dogs got "dumped"
anywhere those organizations could find to "dump" them. Whether they lived or died or their owners were found was irrelevant.
6. Pasado's claimed all dogs were vet checked, yet the "labrador" at Ednah had a broken spine. And suffered with that broken spine
from NO to Ednah and then nine more days out in the elements laying in it's own excretement all that time. Either the vets were really
stupid or they were NOT vet checked. (I vote for the second choice)
7. None of the dogs at Ednah were on ANY list, so none of the owners would have ever found the dogs. Further, they were still in the same
crates that they left NO in, and sat in them for nine days before the Sheriff got involved. Why were they still in those same crates,
some dead, one with no head? Mostly because, they were going to be going elsewhere and what was the difference since Ednah was
already paid for all of them, including $11,000. worth of cyclone runs. Why put them up when the dogs were not going to stay and if they
were going to stay, who cared if they lived or died? They were paid for already.
8. Pasado's asked another rescue organization to come and help with animals. That organization went out of its way to help only to be
turned away when they got there. Why? Because what they wanted them to take was not possible and what they wanted or were able
to take were not PAID for yet so if they released those animals, Pasado's would not have gotten any money for them. Hence, they were
turned away and given nothing.
9. Lots of backpeddling going on between these rescue groups and many are ratting on each other.
It's all about dead presidents. Trying to make a business out of rescue and attaining that NO BIRTH Nation agenda. The almighty buck. These are the people that Santorum has chosen to associate with and intends to have all of us be told what to do by them with our animals. HSUS is NOT an organized, caring rescue group. They are the $ bunch. They did a horrible job and they made animals suffer more than they had to. I say we all take those pictures and turn the tables on them. What do they do to get money and sympathy? They send out pictures of starving dogs, dead dogs, and people send money. Okay. Let's use their very own propaganda and start sending pictures of their "rescue efforts" to the DC Committee before $antorum's hearing on November 8th. Let's take what we have learned from HSUS and USE IT against them. I'm sure those committee people will absolutely love seeing the job that $antorum's campaign funder, er, choice rescue organization, did.
They need to know that politics and the federal government do NOT belong in our hobby. Leave the animals to us. With that, I give you the following information to start sending....Let's get it done. Time is running out. And, don't forget about the money we need for the bus to go to DC on the 8th. Still short $2500. I have the paypal link for those donations if anybody wants to chip in. Meantime, we need to bomb them with the letters and pictures for all to see. I have all those links, too. Whatever you need, ask and I will send it. But DO help !!
Then we'll move on to the BSL issues which have been driving me insane. I have spent so much time researching Law Libraries regarding this issue, I dream about it. Doggie discrimination. I have to start making copies of Luiza Mendoza's cd and sending them to these people who think dogs are just mean for no reason. Closed minded and very unintelligent people. I'm from the old school. A dog attacks and kills a child. Dog dies. City bans breed. A person rapes and kills a child. Person sits in jail for a lifetime at OUR expense...and lives pretty well, too. What's wrong with that picture? More on that subject later. Here is the list of where to start sending pictures, letters, etc., to get rid of PAWS.

Who is speaking for the Cat Fancy? Rabbit Breeders? Bird Breeders? Hunters? Who is speaking for the DOG FANCY? The pet owning public? It certainly is not Mr. Hoffman, who authored a pro PAWS article for Dog News---there is no one who opposes PAWS on this panel!!! There is no one to speak for the hobby breeders- Attempts to add persons to represent us have gone unanswered--THIS HAS
TO BE STOPPED!!!!
Its up to US to educate these Senators on the agenda before the Committee. Its up to us to make sure they know both sides of the story.
Its up to us to ruin Santorums PAWS party.

Sorry about the length of this, I usually don't say much, but, honestly, I have just about HAD it.
