Any suggestions for BARF feeding a pup? I live in Ukraine, where commercial dog food is expensive and iffy in quality, but all kinds of bones, meat, and entrails are cheap and readily available.
So BARF sounds like the logical way to proceed.
For starters, how much to feed? I don't want an 8-week old pup to grow too much too quickly, but I am not trying to starve it either.

I am not an expert on feeding but suggest you feed your puppy as much as it will eat. It is fine to have a dog a bit fat for the first 12-18 months. This will allow it to grow to its fullest potential. I would suggest not feeding any bones until he reaches 12-18 months.
Just a quick search pulled up these threads that appeared to be full of information. Both could probably help you out and answer your questions. :)
