And who cares about weightpulling? My OEB is an excellent weightpuller & has outpulled many a "pit bull", but the most awesome exhibition of weight pulling I've ever seen was by a Swiss Mountain Dog. So does that mean we should breed that dog to Finale? Just because a dog can pull, doesn't mean it's breedworthy.

Titles should only hold any merit in this breed if they have first proven game. Gameness first, then the titles acheived afterwords can compliment the dog. But without gameness, titles dont mean squat to me. And no, weightpulling does not show gameness. I'm not arguing with you he isnt a great dog in his own right, he looks phenomenal and can pull his ass of with the "Ace of Ace" title, but I'm telling it like it is. If he was on my yard, I still would not breed the dog unless he has proven game! To do otherwise would be an insult to the gamedogs who had to earn their right to be bred (yes, no matter how good they looked!).

"Show" standard was and is based upon the gamedog....function to form. What you are and many like you are showing and breeding is not to standard.

Maybe her dogs are treated as her kids. People have websites which keep their friends and family updated on their kids....some people do this for their dogs. That could be why she has the website. If people are gonna sit here and scrutinize her...do it for the reasons that matter...her website isn't hurting anyone. Keep in mind, that her dog "brit" was a rescue - a dog that was going to be put down for neglect and health reasons, and is now healthy, happy, spayed, and excelling at some sort of working ability, is not going to contribute to any more over-population of the canine world/pitbull world, and is in a loving home, probably enjoying the hell out of her life.. APBT or not...that is something to pat her on the back for. As for the rest of it...I'm stayin outa this one, cuz ya'll seem to be saying it all :)

I for one choose not post peds, and rarely make any comments on peds or particular breeding's, but then again I'm not networking.

I agree & am with you on this. I do not facilitate the use of pedsonline or any other similar service because I have seen what this kind of internet papertrail can do to people. I do not post pics of 95% of my dogs b/c their mine. I do not sell puppies, I do not offer breeding services, & nor do I care to broadcast to the entire world what lies within my back yard. I post pics of what, 6 dogs? & most aren't APBTs. And that's when I own 47. There is no reason to "show off" things that we do not wish to have taken from us.
