dna help?

IF i DNA profile and i have no papers n e ways. what kind of info. about my dog would it give me? Still on the hunt to find his parents/brothers/sisters.

DNA testing would not give you any information on who is the parents. DNA profiling is for proof of parentage in case there is some kind of dispute in the future. Sorry to tell you, if you don't know who the parents are or you know who they are but they have no proof of parentage/ancestral record and so on, you will never find out who is the ancestors of the dog. The only way someone can know who the ancestors of the dogs are is through some kind of record through a registry or through written records of a trusted breeder. The only way you can actually KNOW who is the parents of your dog is if you saw the breeding with your own eyes and you know for fact that the dam has only been with one stud. If I were you, give up on finding out the ancestry and love the dog and take care of it well. Papers don't mean a thing. Of course unless you are breeding and please do not breed a dog that you know nothing about. The dog may act nice or look pretty but there is no telling what kind of problems may lie underneath.

i love my dog regardless papers or not...i just want to know where he came from cuz hes the perfect dog to me...wont hurt to know..

What they're trying to tell you, Drag, is that there is absolutely 100% no way for you to ever find out. The only way for you to have known his ped/background, is to have a reputable record. There is no blood test to even tell you what breed of dog it is (Boxer vs. Greyhound vs. Labrador vs. APBT vs. Am Staff, etc) much less bloodlines. Sorry but just move on.
