Yes he is kinda bow legged and he's also large. But I will tell you this and not just becuase he's my dog, but he honestly has the biggest teeth I've ever seen on a dog. I'll try to get a picture of them, they are something massive. And he always throws that in his offspring. I was told by someone who got a son off venom that his teeth was bigger than venoms and they thought they would have to file them down some by a vet.
I'm extremely impressed with this dog, he's 4 years old. I'm looking for some Bolio females for him. I might be picking up a nice pure mayfield bitch and try that cross.;)

Good looking dog to bow legged and a little to big for my tastes but looks like he is a good dog.think that cross would be a good breeding

Ped looks good. Sorry, but the dog is way to out at the elbows for me. It's a 100% promise of future shoulder & elbow problems. Also, the malalignment cause his ankels to turn in & the feet to be splayed out. I guess I just don't like genetic weaknesses especially when they can be avoided.

WHY would you ask about the dogs history AFTER you have alread bred him? And why would you breed something with conformation like that, its got to be a downfall no matter what you use the pups for.

Thanks for the replies:) BTW:defend2daend, I haven't bred him yet, as I've only had him for a couple of months now, but he's sired over 14 litters and is in the 3rd and 4th gen. of many dogs around here and not ever produced bowed legs in any of them, maybe it was luck, but none of the offspring has or had any leg problems, but a good % of them are hella game, I guess I shouldn't bred him then huh??? Pffffft.

could be reasons other than genetic why he has bowed legs.. poor nutrition as a pup being one of them..

Okay, you came on here saying that you want to know about his history, I didn't. I would already know my dogs history before I even would consider getting him. Maybe it's not genetic but I wouldn't breed to him if I had a female worthy of breeding.

man that dog is bred up right, if he is a good dog i would breed him to a heavy boyles dog. throw some good ones maybe. but one thing for sure he is bred right. thats a fact

Maybe it's not genetic but I wouldn't breed to him if I had a female worthy of breeding. Defend, I wasn't talking about the history of my dog, good lord. I was referring to his sire Scooter, I know of him, just get different stories on him from two people who owned him on his titles, I'm not talking about my dog.
I have found out from his previous owners that he got pretty bad calcuim defeciant as a small pup and that is when his legs bowed and that's why he's never produced bow legged dogs. And yes, I would like to take him to some heavy Boyles stuff and I have a heavy bred Tonka Bear gyp coming that is off Superman that should go nice. Some of you I see know your stuff, but I thought this was a game dog board on the bolio line, not a "Pet Bull" board. How did some of you end up on a bolio board? like defend?
The one's that gave him props, thanks, He's 100% bulldog.

Nicely bred dog, those eyes reminds me of a bitch my cousin has.
hes a pretty dog and if your sure it isnt genetics that caused his bow legs then ok i have seen beautiful dogs ruined by heavy chains and working them too young.he is good looking.
Rember just because its game doesnt make it a good dog necessarily there are other physical and temperment aspects to keep in mind.
i think a lot of people on here want to see well rounded dogs not just beasts that wont stop.
but hes good looken once ya get around the legs lol nice chest and head.

I just stated that the site has changed a lot since it first started. If I wanted to leave I would have....don't you think. Don't get me wrong there is a lot of good information given by a few good people- No doubt, but I just noticed the subtle change of the site. Don't get your panties in a bundle!! Its not that crucial!

I agree, don't like the elbows. Definitly asking for shoulder trouble. Maybe a little on the thick side too.

that to is a good looking dog and for the people talking about the bowed legs that is common is most heavy line bred dogs if bred to an outcross bitch more than often the pups will not be bowed
