1st thing is everyone that says they have jeep dont,its the most popular name in the pitbull world(besides dibo),now i know frisco fans are going nuts,and let me say anyone that says thier are no good frisco dogs is nuts,now back to jeep,his dam was ch.honeybunch(the best producing bitch of all times)his sire was ch.bo also r.o.m.,now let me say jeep had just won over b.stepp,stepp had a world beater named gr.ch.angus,angus had beat ch.otis,and ch.freddie i believe,freddie was a littermate to ch.homer,angus came up hurt,so homers owner took over the contest,and believe me they brought a bulldog,now i will speak nothing but truths in my opionion,homer took his last breath,trying to get to jeep,but remember jeep deafeated him in over 3 hours,close to 4,jeep sister,ch.holly was a super pit dog mouth ability ect....,jeeps brother ch.charlie was also a champion,who lost 1,but he was said to be a finisher,jeep had another brother off a different sire,gr.ch.weehunt,another gr.ch.snake,another ch.rascal jr.who also went close to 3 hours on one of his wins,jeep dogs have great temperments,now people are crossing alot of it,hence some people biters,now patrick will say gr.ch.buck,was a canidate,that family does produce good dogs,but not like the the jeep family,some will say frisco,thier are so many crazy sayings about that line i just dont know,but chinaman daddy was a cur or cold,and so was abernathys molly,chinaman was a great dog though,look when looking for lines what was going over 15 years ago and still going now JEEP,through ch.tramp,tab r.o.m.,masons smily,longs weirdo r.o.m., i could go on and on,so newcomer when starting out,get the real thing,not because they say they got it,get from a reptuable breeder,it might cost more,but jeep is her now and will be here years from now,just my opionion,dont mean to put any other line down.

And on top of that every clown that Has a pit with no peds or any way of knowing what they have say ....O i got a boudreaux dog.....wtf! but Jeep blood is really good these days but I'll Stick to the ol cajun blood....ELI!

Everyone has their own opinions and i gave u mine. And btw other lines have produced dogs that have gone over 3 hrs.

How about giving proven scatter-bred dogs a chance to be included in the mix?
How will we find the next great champ if we continue to recycle the same blood?
Alot of scatter-bred dogs are not worth the time and hard work. Few maybe able to break the bubble and turn into a champion or even produce! The good ones of those unknown or scatter bred dogs are good in the ring and may even become a champion, but produce little to nothing. At least, a proven dog is known from a good stock and bloodline.

There are many many line bred Jeep dogs of today it all depends who bred them and what that particular breeder bred them for. Most Jeep stock out there are untested pretty pedigrees which make the Jeep line look very popular because they are living on Jeeps past glory and not on there own merit. Then there are some breeders that breed proven hard tested Jeep stock that is the real deal. In my opinion the Jeep blood is a all around average to above average line you may get some good dogs but usually not great dogs. The best trait of the Jeep line in my opinion is consistancy. The Jeep line as well as many other bloodlines become even better when crossed out into certain lines that click well with each other for example the Jeep/Redboy line is a proven cross which works well with each other if they both come from proven stock. The best cross that I like that has worked well for me and many others is the Jeep/Redboy with ELI this cross has shown to produce some great dogs even a few freak monsters. There is no really one best line because good dogs are where you find em.

These days it seems people are more concerned with breeding whatever is popular, as opposed to trying to breed the better dog. When great lines become the mainstream, the advantage is lost.

What an excellent question. Today the great dogs are the ones being put through 10,000-dollar keeps and shown by expert handlers. Gameness and raw ability just isn't always enough to cut it anymore, not when five thousand other dogs are bred similar to yours.

Jeep Rules! It has proven itself! Jeep blood has stood the test of time. When crossed right, it still produces champions. Remember, Jeep himself was considered a scatterbred dog but when he became champion, there was a line started after him. A stron line primarily because the Jeep Line has the foundation of a good line which is pure gameness. You can't beat gameness. It is what the old timers bred for unlike the modern dogmen who want mouth and ability but truly neglect gameness even though they claim to breed for it.

Quit in 20? Let me explain something. If u got one that blows through everthing and u quite cant test him why not just take him out? Most of the beatem up/chew up dog throw game dogs ands thats a fact or none of us would be botherin with em ok. Just cause these lines tend to throw a couple of aces they are now all 20 min curs?

Proven Jeep blood will give you a level of consistency. & nowadays, the proven crosses have become the standard-bearer of some pretty good bulldogs. As far as breeding traits, Gameness is the constant. You look for traits like ability, mouth, & natural wind in a game dog. Because if your betting on mouth alone your going to lose your ass!
