New Feature: Warning

There has been a new warning system implemented. The way this new system works is, each warning a member receives will come with "warn points" or "demerits." After their warning level reaches 15, they will be automatically banned from the entire site for a total of 7 days from the time they reach the warning level.

The following is a list of things that will not be tolerated on the site. You are expected to abide by all of these to remain an active member on Game-Dog.com. Everyone slips up from time to time, but make sure it does not happen more than once.


Offensive Language
Derogatory terms.
Excessive cussing.
Discussion of Dog Fighting
Strictly Prohibited in any public forum.
Harassing another User
Arguing or fighting
Badgering or bashing
Excessive Spamming
Advertising is allowed, but will not be tolerated on a large scale.
Releasing Private Information
Full names
Addresses
Phone numbers
Email Addresses
Blatant Disregard of Requests


Only moderators and staff members will be able to add\subtract from member's warning points or demerits. So you don't have to worry about getting banned by someone who just doesn't like you. The only reason for warning points to be given is when these rules are broken.

I think its a good idea. Some people need to appreciate the site more as this one is by far unlike the others that are out there. Hopefully everyone obeys by the rules which I feel are fair.

great idea put them in a jail for everyone to see who doesnt belong here with there attitudes etc maybe the embassment will help them learn to behave with manners as this site is a good clean site we should all strive to keep it that way for the years to come

Heh, the jail isn't a place where you can visit unless you are in jail.... right now all it does is blocks the user from doing anything on the site except viewing threads and posts. The user's name looks like this... <s><b>NAME</b></s> with a little lock and "In Jail" under their name as their user title. :)

Are people being banned still or put in jail?? I thought once you got banned it was it - is this an old system (since it's an old thread) or is this all still in effect?

Right now, we're not really using it... I will be working on it soon to fix the problems that exist with it now. :)
