I'm in Northern Illinois.
I am into pulling and have friends in Southern WI but like to keep to themselves.
Not me though.

at the shows i have been to the dogmen/women like to keep there "secret's" to themselves but if you sit and watch them you will pick there "secrets" up easily.

but for just talking to them they are very polite. hope you find some shows :)

There are usually malamute pulls in Wisconsin that many pit owners go to. The Tri-state alaskan malamute club and the Alaskan malamute club of Wisconsin both put on pulls. the second one usually has pulls aroind the Milwaukee area. The UPF and IWPA will have some pulls in Wisconsin but usually only on the western side of the state. There are also a lot of IWPA and UPF pulls on the western side of Illinois (which is about 3-3 1/2 hours away). For info on the clubs (links) and pulls go to the doggpower site at doggpower.com. There are some ADBA shows that come up in Illinois and there used to be one in Milwaukee but no more. There are a lot of great pullers in this area but no one really puts on the pulls they just go to them.

there is a sled pull coming up in wisconsin dells this feb on the 11th contact me and i will give u more info its at chistman moutain resort in wisonsindells it is a very fun one so dont miss out

Have you tried looking up any of the weight pull club's websites? The IWPA has two pulls listed in your region, one in Minnesota in March, and one in Wisconsin in February. http://www.iwpa.net/calendar.htm You might also check the UKC, ADBA, and APA sites for pulls.
