I was wondering who all came to the show in Swainsboro this weekend.I was there right after you left :( we got there at about 12:00 or so and Gapits said you just left :( sorry we missed you.

Yeah, I left early.The reason I came was to meet Gadogs but I didn't see him, we stayed for 1 hour and left.
I heard that you and swamper was there. but not many from the site :(
we have alot of members from Ga but nobody showed up :(

Thanks GA, you and your dogs should be congratulated too. How many placed again? They all looked real good.

I believe I saw Idgie too. Maybe I am wrong. But, I heard a lady call Idgie as a dog's name as she was trying to get it in the crate. Her dog looked great also.

It was fun. It was just too damn hot.

Sorry it was so hot!!! My dogs placed well though!
Ragen got 1st place in his weight class pulling, and won Most weight pulled per pound
He also got 2nd in his age group in the show and
Gamble got 3rd place I was really pleased! But next time I hope we are
more organized, and in a better location closer to home!

Yeah, I personally would rather the shows closer to Atlanta or at least Macon. Swainsboro is really far. But, it was fun never the less. Thanks for putting the show together.

I am hoping for a point show before the end of the year, but it won't be in Swainsboro! I am searching for somewhere closer maybe Macon. Marty what about the park we had the first show at? Do you think that would work? If anyone has any ideas about a affordable location please post or pm me.

Everything fell together pretty nicely I suppose. The location was far but we all searched really hard for a ac building and this was the only thing that the Pres. of the club could find affordable. As far as size it worked out really well. I wish more people could have attended but I think when we do have a point show things will be better, people will be more willing to come. We had some awesome raffle items they bought though. THe President of the club bought a three room dog house to donate and donated a puppy for raffel among other things. Denice Holcumb and Mary Burton showed up with a carload of raffel items from them and Beth Hart so they helped alot. I had fun I hope everyone else did too!

We did have a good time, even though i never got to visit much with my dogs classes all running so tightly together, We did place 4 out of 5 and felt we did very well. Tatonka's "k2" (pinky) took 1st in 9-12 females, Tatonka's "Smilin' Jack" took 2nd in 4-6 males, Tatonka's "Simba" took 2nd in 3-5 males, and Tatonka's "Bustin' Loose" took 3rd in 12-18 males. The only one that didn't get one is my black & tan, but with those you win some and you lose some, lol. Overall I think everyone had a great time, let's hope the point show isn't quite as far out, I will be looking for a venue to!!!!!

Marty, after a month of planning to come the wife decided to be sick. I was stuck with my usual pulling the cages and dogs to PetSmart for saturday adoptions. But would enjoy a meeting of the minds to discuss some of the current issues. As I have stated so many times in the past on the 25th of this week we have the Tempory Restraining Order hearing in Chambers county Al for the Lanett case. I am looking forward to meeting with Dr. I Lehr Brisbane this week.
Well to answer your question I regretably was unable to attend. But as stated earlier would be willing to meet at some time if you wished but I need a little notice so I can schedule the time in.
I hope it was a good event.
