Lanett,AL Hearing for Temporary Restaining Order, need help identifing a dog.

A rescue has aquired a dog believed to be a Catahoula that was taken along with her pups and identified as a PIT MIX (they were to be put to sleep). We believe this dog is possibly a fullblooded Catahoula but need a breeder to do an as close as possible identification that she is a Cat and not a bull mix. If anyone is aware of a breeder or judge of the breed in the Ga/Al area please let us know who and how to contact them. We were informed only yesterday that this dog may be required to be in court on the 25th of this month as evidence that the BSL in Lanett is being misused and is stripping away the rights of not only the pit owners but that of many other breeds of dogs. This is an attempt to stop the madness at least until the Constitutional Challenge can be heard and ruled on in a state or federal court. Dr. Lehr Brisbane may also be giving testimony in this hearing but his belief of what the dogs breed is may be challenged so we need a breeder or judge of the breeds opinion.

I wish I could help. Unfortunately, there aren't many people breeding or showing Catahoulas. At least from what I know.
