Arlington, WA -- Snohomish County sheriff's deputies arrested a man with $5,000 to $6,000 worth of crystallized methamphetamine and a large amount of cash Tuesday night in Arlington, police said.

Deputy Rich Niebusch said investigators believe the man was "definitely a dealer" and called the arrest "a pretty good bust."

The arrest was made after a traffic stop at 8:41 p.m. in the parking lot of Angel of the Winds Casino in the 3400 block of Stillaguamish Lane. The suspect ran off, and police pursued him. A pit bull from another vehicle not associated with the chase started running after the man, too, Niebusch said.

Both the dog and the suspect were caught. The dog was put back in the car he came from. The man, who had outstanding warrants, was booked into jail.

Who caught the guy first? The pit or the officer? If it was the pit maybe he should get an award for helping out the police! ;)

That is awesome...but its a wonder if the cops didn't kill the dog saying that it was running after the guy only to get his meth! They should have mad a big deal out of it. They would have if it was any other breed! I bet his owner gave him a big steak that night.

I agree 100 percent with everything you said right there....except the steak.... If he was mine you can be sure he'd be getting a whole chicken and a big tub of PBR!
