Councilmen do this on purpose, hoping that no one will show up who is opposed to the ban. If you can't make the meeting, please call and e-mail them and let them know how you feel.

Here in Colorado, we put together information packets to give them to try and educate them. We are going to start distribute these to council members BEFORE it ends up on their agenda. We will recommend strengthing their vicious dog ordinances instead of BSL.

At the council meeting last night in Commerce City, they postponed speaking about the BSL ordinance until the next meeting on August 15th. This was announced 1 hour before the meeting. There was over 100 of us who drove down to oppose the ban. We all wore buttons that had BSL with a line drawn through it. Two of the council people (one of them let me pin a button him!), actually asked what "BSL" was!!!
