I'm looking for a bitch, preferably blue, with strong game lines. I'm looking for one old enough to breed. Even if your bitch is not blue but has strong game lines give me a shout. I'm always looking for new blood.
Thanks.......JMAN

I was glad to see that color was not more important than gameness. I wish you luck JMan in finding a good bitch I will keep my ears open.

u know blue and gameness most people would get on u about that. blues were never bred for gameness they were bred for old women who like to bicker at adba functions and have their animals look attractive. no disrespect ment just trying to pass along relitive knowledge with this breed. but if shon wants stuff about blues up here i resign my position as a mod and a member. as game blues is an oxymoron. they just dont go together

Bet my blue boy can eat your lunch. While Blues may have been bred to look at some have taken the time to add true game lines into the breed as I am trying to do. I believe you must stay true to the breed, besides, I can't help it if I have a good looking dog that is a badass. Resign if you want, you're the oxymoron

alot of people say there is no such thing as a blue gamebred pit and that their is just blue staffs. think about it what big name kennels do u see using any blue dogs and winning anything. NONE. yeah i think they look nice and wouldnt mind giving my little cousin one or something like that but i would never own one, i dont have the time to sit around and try to breed gameness back into a sub breed that has lost it. i want PURE gamebred dogs, not gamebred/staff crosses. and that dog is a staff look at the adba 4 generation paperwork everything one there that is staff they have marked as a staff with a mark next to the name.

Alot of people say alot of things, and I for one don`t believe everything I hear in the dog game! I do know that I havent seen but 2 gamey blue dogs out of about 100 and yes they did have staff within 4 generations. I dont agree with mixing staff blood either but I don`t see where Jman said how he wanted the bitch to be bred other than gamebred. MMK mentioned something about a pedigree {4generation} but I guess you meant in general you will find staff blood in all the blue dogs and yes I do agree with that also. I guess the way a man wants to breed his dogs is his own bussiness though and who agrees with it or not really isnt important as long as that person is culling properly. Would I resign as a Moderator and Member because Shon lets someone discuss Blue dogs? Absolutely not, as a matter of fact Im the moderator of this forum and although I dont really care for Blues I wont stop this thread. Just my thoughts for what they are worth.

Hey, jman I agree with everyone about this issue, but you can check out Eppinette Knls. Look at Ghost probably your best shot at making the best of both worlds.

A buddy of mine is close with EPP. and i KNOW that GHOST is GAME
im not saying the man is an idiot, if he can breed back consistant gameness into blues more power to him. it is just a venture i would not wish be spend that amount of time, money, and effort on. as it would not be an easy conquest and it would take years on culling to do so. If thats what he wants to do more power to him. never ment any disrespect to him just pointing out that gameness and blues isnt known for going hand and hand. take it as u will.

JMAN good luck on your quest! I am a little behind you. I'm still researching the genetics and things, but we have the same goal. My female will be ready in February and I know you have nice quality dogs. I dont know her lines to know if she is gamebred or not. I have not sent the seven generation papers in.She is not just big and blue like the rest I've seen. She was bred for agility and has a nice lean muscle tone. Please keep me updated on your progress. Sorry it didnt work out with Jack. That wouldve been a huge leap forward with a gamebred blue. If you get a litter I would be interested in the details. Good Luck!

At the show this weekend I saw one of the nicest blue fawns that I have ever seen the dog was probally at the most of 40 pounds if that. Blue fawn color with white. Perfect conformation and she said he has about 80 pounts towards champion. I am not really fond of the blue dogs myself but that is one of the nicest I have seen. I got pictures of him asoon As I get them all setup.
