Alot of the time if BSL passes-it does include GS's and also Rotts and Dobies. Lets be more grown-up then just pointing fingers and saying ''if you ban us ban them too!", it helps no-one out. What needs to be done is we need to get a coalition of doggers from all these breeds working together, we do great on our own and im sure theres Rottweiler owners doing the same as us, and Doberman owners, etc. but what really needs to be done is all of us getting together and acting as one big movement, strength in numbers!

It was that guys fault getting bit. If you watch the dog he has he ears laid back and he is looking really upset. If i was that guy i would have gotten the idea to back off a bit.

Big-Boys is a funny site. There is another video posted that had a small dog attacking some guys groin area! Sorry but I didn't have time to find it.

Well first off, the dog did warn the guy by the look in the dogs eyes and the laid back ears..but the number one rule with a police dog is...you can NOT touch the dog or the police handler in any way..the dog is trained to bite and attack anyone who touches the dog or police handler...i don't know why they were doing that. when i worked in the grooming shop..we had 2 police dogs that came in..the police handler would come in and put him in the cage and take his leash off..if we tried to grab him or even shake hands w/the police officer the dog is supposed to attack..that's just how they train them. but once the officer is away the dog can be handled in any way..

Sure, you go ahead and handle them "in any way" YOU FREAK! just kidding.

But I would still be apprehensive about handling a people biter no matter the race.

i seen the story on that video and the cop said that the news man just touch him around the neck thats why he bit him thats how they trained him. Everyone said that its not the dogs falut and i belive that, but what if it was someones pit that was trained the same way and done that they would put it to sleep in a heart beat. JMO.

That is not how they train them... they are trained to react to certain situations, but they are not supposed to bite just because someone 'touches" them. Theres alot of pictures out there with kids petting police dogs ....

I work with Military working dogs. that guy got bit because the handlers is a dumb ass, The dog did what he does. He did nothing wrong. And the reporter was just stupid.

i remember when they had that on tv the cop said (that the news man touched him in the wrong spot thats why he reacted thats how he was trained). Now why let someone pet your dog if you know how they going to react how smart he is lol
