i want to make my own harness but can't seem to find strips of leather, just looking for 5 strips about an inch. wide, i have all the other parts like rings and buckles and even spikes but you would think the leather would be the easiest thing to find.

YOYOYO do you know how old that Pic of that collar is? The closest you would get to that now, would be a padded 2 inch nylon collar or 2 inch padded leather collar.
I think Crossfire sell's 2 inch padded nylon collars.

...bring the picture to a good leather man and have him make you one if you want it to be just like that.
I know this is an old thread, but I found this website.

Try www.tandyleather.com. (www.tandyleather.com) I use them for some of the collars I make and for full hides for making leather armor for sword fighting.
