I just received a distressed call from my 30 year old son who has a pit bull and lives in Modesto, Ca. His dog is about 9 months old and very gentle. My son has a 3 year old girl and 10 year old boy that play with the dog and love him very much. The dog has a very easy going personality. My son recevied a call from his landlord that he has a week to get rid of his dog because the new neighbor that will move in to the duplex (attached to his but separated by a fence) this week-end is afraid of Pit Bulls. Does he have any rights???? Does he have to get rid of his dog???? Please somebody help us in our area as time is of the essence and I need a speedy reply of who he can contact to help him in his area. He is not far from the bay area. Modesto is located South of Sacramento, California about 60 miles. Appreciate any help we can get. Thank you.
