go ask anyone that knows these dogs and they will tell you ROD doesn't have dogs bred like that on his yard.......and when a family of dogs becomes known after a person is when that person breeds their understanding into the dogs.......and IKE has done that......so they are Foster dogs........by way of Kershner.........

i dont like Miko his Purity is way off of what i have he is a great dog but there are better producers in the family

Producing what who? Good looking curs? I'm not trying to be a d*ck but I have asked multiple times and multiple people, as well as heard it asked 50x more and have not been told of one good dog recently. For producing the ammount of bulldogs being produced from kershners yard, you'd think you would hear of SOMETHING. I find it extremely difficult to believe the dogs are working and no one makes a peep about them.

There are some Mayfield dogs that actually do work, I can't speak for Kersner himself or his dogs (as most do) but I do know I have a couple Nigger crosses that work great ! I don't feel (as most do) that ANY line can hold their own for a couple decades. Most people rush out to buy the heaviest line/inbred dog they can have and expect it to be a GRCH or ROM in a couple years but are sadly disappointed when they have a yellowbelly. Sure some old timers bred down from their best dogs, but alot of good dogs are/were crosses and from there bred into itself to preserve the gameness ability & thru culling the remaining offspring resembled the parents abilities. A line on it's own eventually needs to be crossed and crossing produces excellent results. People are so quick to slander a line based upon he/she said. I've heard these same comments told from everyline . .. . ...

i agree with FRED, TEX great Post......and GUYS dont listen to TIN he is a computer dogman.......a Line that is "heavily" inbred doesnt get worse it only gets worse when the breeders of that family slack off in the culling area......the dogs are under man's control, it's never the dog's fault what they are, it's man understanding and how the dogman fits their understanding into the dogs......a line goes out of existence because of MAN not the dogs.......but thankfully this Mayfield line is still around and from what i have i am SO PROUD to be invovled with the dogs........NOW it's up to me not to screw it up.......

I said its suprising not one person has made a peep not "evreryone tell the whole internet community". If a dog is a good one, let alone a line, then somebody, somewhere will tell a friend who tells a friend. I am not speaking just from the internet as 99 percent of whats told on the net is BS, I find it hard to believe that me, nor anyone I associate with has seen or heard from a reputable person of a good kershner dog since "Have-not". It is not my intent to demean a family of dogs or talk bad about them on a forum, if you would like to discuss this issue shoot me a pm. Have a good day.
