I have 2 pitbulls. They just had a litter 2 months ago. We decided to keep one of the pups and now the people that bought them are curious to know what bloodline they are. We were told that my male is a colby line or red devil line. I honestly don't know the difference between that and any other bloodline. I am looking for information that might tell what possible bloodline they might be.. my second was is white and we were told that she was some weird name and we can not find any information on any bloodlines...

there is really no way of know ing unless the people you got them from have the pedigrees on the parents. you can not just guess the bloodlines of a dog

You should tell the new owners that you frankly dont know, and that pedigrees mean very little anyways seeing as how there are so many paper-hung dogs. Pedigrees mean even less if you arent breeding for a specific purpose-then they are worth only as much as the paper they are printed on. I have to ask, why did you breed two dogs of unknown lineage when there are so many good pets in the humane societies across the world. We definetly dont have a shortage of pitbulls so why breed more when the pups probably arent going to better the breed in any way? Just so you know, nearly everyone on this site is against breeding dogs that arent proven in someway, and therefore, we stronly support the neutering/spaying of pets. We love animals too much to see great dogs rotting in a humane society simply because backyard breeders want to breed unproven dogs to sell for money. This is just some info I thought you might want to know, stay around awhile, join the boards, theres lots of great info, and great people you could benefit from as we all do.
